Guess what… went to the goodwill yesterday and found a tab punch (we are memory keepers turquoise one) for 3.99. I did what you suggested. I got out paper from my purse and tried it first. Works great. ❤❤❤👍
I shudder when I think of your poor abused fingernails. That happened to me once. The technician was angry that she had to stay and do my nails so she cut my cuticles all to pieces. Ouch!!! I hope you heal quickly. I am so enjoying watching you create these pages. So many creative ideas. It will be wonderful to have on your desk and with a flip of your hand you can brighten your day.
Love watching you! You are so pleasant and creative. You are the first person I watched doing this craft and you have inspired me to start as well. I am really enjoying it. I watch you every day! Please keep the great ideas coming!
This page is so cute!!! Tim came up with the vault because there are a lot of new crafters that missed those sets in the past that are no longer available so they can get it for a nice price and for the crafters that have the older sets to have another size to give more perspective on their creations by combining them both.
Omg... girl!!! You just made my day!!! 🥹🥹🙏🙏🥰🥰 Thank you so much!! So happy to hear I inspired you back and of course, I now feel inspired by you again!!! I absolutely love what you made!!!! 😍😍😍😍
BUGS! Wonderful! The way you engineer your layouts is amazing. Love the flipping and how, you put the little tags so they made a circle in the center. ❤ Awesome!
This is fabulous. I love entomology and anything to do with the study of bugs except the bugs themselves. I am not exactly afraid of them. I just want them to stay where they belong. Which is not in my house. LOL! But I could look at this all day long. How fun! So creative. Keep up the good work! Hope you gain another milestone of views and subscribers with this project.
Love the page with the bird!!! If it was on a smaller scale, it would be like the clusters I love to make, but it is really beautiful in the larger size. The moth page today is also phenomenal. Thanks for sharing!
I wish you could teach online classes, I am always amazed at what you come up with in your projects, love it, big hugs and kisses to those lovely cats:)
OMG another home run!! Seriously, you just keep going. You are unstoppable! It makes me so excited to see you posted a video. I always make sure I have dedicated time to watch so I don’t have to keep forwarding through 😂. I really like the way you laid out these flips. It is little things like that, that are so inspiring. I always feel like I get something out of every one of your videos. Hugs ❤️🤗
Kyra's grid journal project was amazing, I subscribed to her very recently thanks to you linking to her before, and I'm so glad I did. Funnily enough, I couldn't hear your cat because my own was snoring loudly next to me while I watched your video and worked on my own junk journal project. Vault collections and re-releases may not be very exciting for people who were able to get them during their first release, but for those of us who are newer to the hobby and may not have bought them the first time around, they're really quite exciting, as it gives us an opportunity to get the stamps we see more experienced crafters using, but have found it difficult to get for our own projects. For drawing rectangles that have properly square edges, it might be a good idea to invest in set squares - it doesn't matter which degrees the points are if you only use it for right angle work, but it makes it much easier to always have perfectly perpendicular lines, and they are fairly cheap to get hold of in most stationary stores, particularly just before school starts each year - I quite like the mathematical sets which come in tins, as you get a compass, set squares, a ruler, an eraser, a pencil sharpener, and of course, a lovely tin to keep them all in. We have a brand here in the UK which has lovely printed lids that I think look very smart, and they're excellent for storing bits and bobs.
Ah yes, the wet the finger to make the stamp stick. Use it all the time. I’ve had a terrible art blockage since the new year. I’m Willy Nilly stamping and nothing is cohesive. Going to get all these stamp sets out and just copy what you’ve done. No shame here. I got my mojo from the one of the best. Thanks for sharing.
He reimagined loads of the vault editions. Adjusted sizes and a few other tweaks. He did a live and explained it in detail. I was too excited for today’s release of the new color. 😍😍😍😍 🔥🪵 Scorched Timber It looks like it will be my favorite distress color. Cool toned dark brown nearly black. I love this flip up page and flip up book. It’s going on my list to do. Tip to help the nails… biotin supplements, some vitamin E oil on them and I’d use a hardener top coat then give them a few days to breathe then the top coat again and so forth. Mine are like stone so I rarely had that issue when removing them. Good luck! 💚🖤💚
The page turned out so cool. I’m sorry your nails are sore. I have acrylic over my natural nails & have taken them off & know how sore they can be. I can’t imagine having them filed off like that. She should have treated them with acetone to lift the acrylic 😢
These are really lovely. It amazes me how much time, effort and talent you put into your work. Watching you work is such a pleasure and an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your work and thank you for also showing us alternative methods to get to basically the same results. Have a wonderful day. ❤😊

This journal is absolutely amazing. I love this page with the bugs and the idea will be very adaptable to a regular Journal. I hope your fingernails are feeling better and that you found the enriched healing polish to put on them. Blessings and love from New Mexico
So cool and beautiful! As you were finishing the page, I thought that the big moth could have been backed on something stronger with a velcro dot in the center of his body and the other half in the center of the background page- then he could have held down all the flaps at once with his wings! But he is a cool reveal as well. I have velcro dots but they are not clear- those are neat!
Extremely well done you! Absolutely fantastic. Your ideas are genius. ❤ My brain was a few seconds slow tonight. When you said Tim is coming out with a new colour I thought you meant your hubby! ??? Oh, you mean Mr Tim Holtz. 😂 Are there any hues left?! Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas.❤
Using Tim Holtz big label stamp would be a fun way to make the rectangles as well. Doesn't he have a die cut for them too? If so that would be another easy way. If someone already has them that is. Love how it turned out!
We are very cold here in Canada. Minus 39 degrees C this morning with the windchill it was-51. Fabulous page although I am not a bug fan. Blessings and hugs. 🇨🇦
@@SevenplazaCreative Yes I left her a message. Kyra’s work is amazing and is so inspired by you. It’s lovely how crafters are always there for each other. x
Hello Margreth 😊 oh yet another beautiful page ❤ i love it. Tje construction is really interesting. I want buy verkade book maybe on vinted. 😊❤ ! Thanks 😉😊
WOW!!! I love this page! You have such great ideas!! I think I have some hard cardboard Bingo cards like yours but they might not be as large.. I want to try to make something like this out of it. Would be nice to have it on display like that!
You are such an amazing artist , Your eye for detail must be worth its weight in gold. And your never-ending ideas, I'm probably a little jealous, maybe ;) I myself am in a terrible period of organization that is interrupted by new ideas that have to be done right now and so the organization has to lie around for a little while waiting to become more easily accessible and easy to use the day I get to mass produce something I couldn't resist buying the Reminessen book you showed a few weeks ago. Im just sitting stroking it and saying "my preasers" and wondering if I will ever take it apart and use those amazing pages,
Oh now...! That is lovely xx I am inspired to make something like this ..thank you so much..what fun xx Sorry your nails are so painful..yuk.. greetings from Amsterdam xxx
Love your work. Aleene's has a glue 'Tack-it over and over. works for making surfaces sticky so they are repositionable. I use it on stamps I have removed from wood blocks. Maybe it could help you.
The tabs being in the central part of the page is very clever. Just a unique set of ideas that work! As a young child my fingers would twinge with the creeps if I touched a book page with bug pictures. LOL! Glad I grew out of that.😂
Perfect timing! I was mentally trying to devise a way to break up a journal page like tic-tac-toe board, or grid, and this tutorial reminded me to not necessarily make my grid uniformly oriented…Thx! P.S. I finally found Sam Poole’s “Signatures From the Past” stamp set! It was sold out everywhere for weeks! What a beautiful set!! Your recommendations never disappoint!😘 You might like the tutorial Marly Designs posted today where she uses labels and masking techniques.
It's amazing how much you can get on one small label. Never done grid journaling but must give it a try. Brilliant project, this journal is amazing already. Crafty hugs Jacqui 😺😺
I’m sorry but I forgot to mention earlier, I don’t know if you got any help from anyone with your nails. I was just going to tell you that from my experience, what was left of my nails was paperthin. So I had to keep a coat of clear on them just for the strength. And yes, you’re looking at probably six months to a year. Just with the rate of nail growth. (Former nurse, tend to get nerdy with medical stuff!) So sorry, this happened to you! xoxo ❤
