Tokyo Dub by Juno Reactor, off their new album Gods & Monsters. This and Immaculate Crucifixion are my two favourites of the new album, although the rest is certainly not lacking.
Junk Reactor is a mix of World/goa/psy trance/IDM /trip hop. I think a lot of 90s people will agree when I say juno reactor is one of the founding fathers of trance since they experimented with it so much and they are in games and movies
ahh i was trying to remember this song the other day. I knew it had "Tokyo" in the song name but of course that's not enough to find it hahah. I was watching a video and the youtuber mentioned Juno Reactor and i immediately remembered that was the band name of this song and came here
This theme reminds me a lot of Massive Attack. Juno Reactor and all the musician's inherent to the project are such amazing sound engineers. It's like "listening" to architecture
I tend to imagine high def enthusiasts as the sort who overcompensate a lack of features in a song by overemphasizing the bass's importance in a song XD
I'm not some bass junkie. I've setup my sub-woofer so that I can't hear where it's in a room. RU-vid compresses music to 128 kbps -- sound degrades, bass degrades -- I can hear that. But I can't hear difference between 256+ kbps MP3 and FLAC.

I agree with you. Personally I have too genres: I Love It, and It's For Someone Else But for the records, most people are asking for the genre, because they like what they hear and they'd like to find more.
some of us like dubstep, some like trance and some like justin bieber. And it will always be that way. That´s whats amazing with music. It´s such a diversity. So plz, dont tell people what they should listen to, or genres up and down... Just enjoy :) Really tasty song btw!

In fact the tribal influence in a large amount of Juno Reactor songs makes them much closer to.Goa than any other electronic genre. But still. Heu is his own genre.
Cool tune like Juno Reactor a lot. a bit like the electic sounds of Leftfield, Orbital, UNKLE, AllFlaws Kind of great at mixing up the electronica styles
@DJxFrreaky Hey! How about defining it as Dubtronika? Coz' I still find Dub to close to traditional reggae (it originated in 1960's for Christ's sake). Whatdaya think?
you find those compilations only on youtube or in general? im kinda new to this genre, though i got to know many interpreters. are there any interpreters you know of who do make pseudo-goa shit or just some comps. ?
I see there's a lot of discussion about Dubstep... well this can't be because this doesn't suck. On a more serious note, it's a little too psychedelic to be dubstep... and it's actually good.
What the hell are people talking about? This is the first time I see people thinks of this as dubstep. I never imagined people would become so low as to call this dubstep. Although this song is kind of electronica/classic, Juno Reactor is mainly trance goa.

The 2 step beat, check. The Dub Reggae sample, Check. The Wobble bass, Check. What else could this be, seriously, just cause the genre got destroyed by posers like Skrillex doesn't mean this isn't the real deal.
