Not all of them are Slavs. Remember there were still Greeks in the are before the Slavs came, so you could be probably find some actual Greek Macedonian families in FYROM. And ancient Macedonians were not ancient Greek, they had a related language but didn't speak Greek. It was a close cousin to Greek and also related to Thracian and Phrygian languages. Its like how Spanish and French are related. Greek didn't become the language of Macedon until Alexanders death.
