Umm- so I don’t see any option for a timer for wake-up or how I would setup to brew a drink first thing in morning? Am I missing something? The Wi-Fi function is very limiting if it can’t wake-up from being powered off or be scheduled to come on at a certain time of day. I can’t even set the timer to have it stay on longer than 9 hours, so unless I make sure the last thing I do is turn it on and the first thing I do is use Wi-Fi to brew a coffee then I have to go down and turn the machine on and wait for first brew.
Hi. Just got my Z10 last week. Can you please tell me how the Z10 doses for espresso shots? As you know, multiple bean images are used on screen to represent coffee strength. If I slide full left and only highlight a single bean, what is the bean dose? Then how does the dose weight change as I move up in bean image selection, incrementally? Also, what is the gram dosage if I choose a doppio?
Dear @precisionsoundworks6405, thank you for your comment. The brewing unit fills the Z10 from 5gr to 16gr. The 10 steps can therefore be divided approximately into 1 gr per bean. If the coffee is increased with 5 / 6 beans, we get about 1 gr more ground coffee. JURA recommends to choose the setting that suits the taste. The gram value can be perceived differently per bean type. With a Doppio, the set amount of powder is doubled. Kind regards, JURA
@@jura_coffee Thank you so much. One more question: If ground coffee is loaded into the bypass chute out of sequence, a message pops up indicating something 'like not enough coffee used.' When that message appears is the only option to use a nozzle tip on a vacuum to remove the grounds and then start over?
@@precisionsoundworksstudio A minimum of 1 to a maximum 2 dosing spoons of powder can be filled into the powder chute in order to obtain a coffee product. As a rule, if less than one dosing spoon has been filled in, the message 'not enough coffee' appears. The powder will automatically fall into the coffee grounds container after one minute. Kind regards, JURA
@@jura_coffee Hi. I appreciate these RU-vid comment responses. I’ve called support several times but it seems that no one can answer my specific questions. I even set up a one to one meeting and was unable to get the answers to my questions. Also, three separate customer service specialists told me they would get back to me with answers to my questions, but none called me back. Respectfully, the machine is great, but customer support is lacking.
