The ending is the biggest WTF moment. A dragon would have been a better ending.

Who's idea was it anyway to build a dinosaur park right next to a dormant volcano? That is stupidity at its finest...

What's everyone's problem with The Lost World? It was a fun movie. It had a great score. It had an unexpected final act, and it had The Goldblum the whole film.

The first act of the movie was great, but man once they get off the island this movie takes a huge nosedive into shitsville. They could of cut out so many characters like the screaming guy with glasses, the girl and especially elmer fudd (He had the dumbest moment in almost any movie I've ever seen). It went from being Jurassic park, to Resident Evil, to alien, to rise of the planet of apes. They even have their own wesker lol. The worst part was the last five minutes of the film. Their was one character who was only in the film to try and justify a decision made at the end and it just doesnt work because it is just plain stupid.

The should have replaced the "Fallen" in the name with "Tragic" and have Gwen Stefani start in it.

Thanos erased Starlord and he reincarnated into a different reality as a raptor whisperer.

The Jeff Goldbloom scene was a future meeting. It was well done that scene because it made us think it was current but it wasn't till AFTER the events happened and the dinosaurs were loose the Dr.Malcom gave his speech. What we saw was a glimpse of civilization responding to dinosaurs being freed and I feel that added a nice little...I dunno haha

Hint about the ending: this movie could potentially be seen as an unofficial prequel to Theodore Rex.

Great and well balanced review. You two wanted to like it, said some good things, but found many actual problems and made them clear. A must watch for action screen writers. "Too much running from dinosaurs."

Chris Pratt's character survived being next to lava and out ran a pyroclastic flow! That was during the good part of the film, it was all downhill from there.

I had no interest in this anyway so I read the plot synopsis on Wikipedia and holy shit I think I actually lost brain cells.

Let's see... Goldblum is in it for a couple of minutes ... This Swiss cheese plot is even dumber and more convoluted than the last movie... They squeezed just enough fan service to get you wet... Big bad super hybrid monster manage to escape yet again because people in these movies are caricatures of cartoon characters... Oh and Human cloning??? because why the fuck not? This movie is hot summer blockbuster gargabe...

The original JP was like visiting an actual park. It brought dinosaurs alive for a generation and if you happened to be a kid at the time hooooly shit it was almost unreal. It probably single handedly cemented my life-long love of film. None of these others even come close. In fact, 3 is probably my second favorite just because it cuts the bullshit and just decides to be a fun monster movie.

Waited to watch this review till I saw the film and Just saw it tonight....it was a silly film 😅 Was a soft reboot of The Lost World, The Final Boss Dinosaur wasnt as formidable as Indominus, ALSO the finale wasnt as EPIC as the first Jurassic World. Didn't hate it but I'd just Rent it. Tho the Final Boss Dinosaur was funny in some scenes, like winking at the camera and evilly grinning funny so that was entertaining. Also some scenes were legitimately horrifying to imagine being stuck in so I'll give it that. But honestly at this point JUST MAKE A FUCKIN DRAGON lol But To me personally If I go by my own level of Enjoyment for each film I'd say 1) Jurassic Park (duh) 2) Lost World 3) Jurassic World (THE FUCKIN FIGHT AT THE END WAS THE HYPEST SHIT F*CK EVERYONE ELSE 🤣) 4) Jurassic Park 3 5) Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom but thats just my opinion was interesting but silly.

SPOILER: War For The Planet Of The Dinosaurs

The original Jurassic Park is my favorite film as a kid. Just the atmosphere of being in a park made you feel like you were actually in the park. The dinosaurs really stole the show and were terrifying. I think Lost World, Jurassic Park 3 failed to capture what made the original film so special. Though they were good films but they don't come close to Jurassic Park.

the kid in the movie is a clone of the old guy in the movie's dead daughter and she sets the remaining dinos free into the forest because "they're clones just like her" even though owen and clair voted to let the poison gas kill them.

I trust DT movie reviews more than anyone else, they are 100% spot on all the time. I've saved a lot of money over the years watching their reviews before I actually go pay to see something. So I'll just wait till they give this on TNT or TBS before I see it.

And the movie was so beautifully filmed I thought and the CG was amazing and the atmosphere with the fog and dinosaurs coming out of the shadows looked sooo great. But the movie was really really bad I thought. What a gorgeous house too man oh my gosh I couldn’t believe it but everything was bad beside those things.... Yes Martin, both those scientist kids were horrible. They were my biggest complaint. I didn’t laugh any in this movie except a couple smiles from something here and there.

Jurassic Park should have been left as a one hit classic of the 90's. The films just ran out of ideas. I don't blame Trevorrow, you can do so much with these films just like Jaws.

This movie was damn atrocious, in my opinion. A 5/10. Had a strong intro overshadowed by a weak plot-hole filled narrative, one dimensional characters, unrealistic kids, obnoxious millenials (and Im 24), alot of "thats not how that works" moments (entire volcano set piece) and cartoony greedy villains. At least the ending (meaning the set up for JW 3) and most of the dinosaurs were great.

The reason it was like a rollercoaster when they jumped in the bubble is because it was a rollercoaster. Haha

I am upset that they never mentioned Site B "Ilsa Sorna" in this film. What a wasted opportunity.

The ending to this movie made the entire Jurrassic Park franchise completely meaningless. I thought it was a pointless and boring film that was only made for the sake of making another Jurrassic Park film.

Made over $700 million worldwide but had mixed reception from critics Nostalgia Critic hated it saying it's bringing the worst stuff like treating its audience like they're stupid plus the human characters being idiotic, preachy, and pretentious The tone being inconsistent and the pacing being off too Double Toasted hated it particularly when it came to the ending , they chose to believe that did not happen The Indoraptor is my favorite dinosaur though in this one It's worth the wait in many respects The film does feel like a throwback to ‘Lost World’ having the corporate businessmen try to take the reigns The volcanic eruption is the best set piece in the middle of the movie although it does switch gears to a mansion for the remainder of it Plus the subplot with Maisie being a clone could’ve been tossed out entirely next to Justice Smith The humans are still just okay here, they’re not the main concern only to drive the plot forward But there are certain moments of shades of grey who’s actually at fault here which is refreshing It’s not always narratively satisfying and the previous film was better in so many regards
