Excellent vid, really appreciated your details. This is interesting as I am studying Mizerow Transformative Learning Theory (TLT) who bases so much on Habermas. Here in a disastrous 2021 it's all about power, at least for the moment. No presumption that we are even TRYING to talk in intelligible ways. It all comes back to ugly power. 27:15 now we're getting real. Not all stakeholders will be at the table. In fact, usually very few. Consensus - it's a good gig if you can get it - but power will rule any day. 33:35 I respect Habermas for his good intentions. "Linguistification of the Sacred" - humanistification of the Sacred. Peukert shaking things up. Habermas, to me, really doesn't have a read on Faith considering that he thought Davis was denying Theology. 59:40 Agreed about the problem with a non-Theologically-based value of the individual. The turn-of-events, Habermas going all Transcendental on us. Looking forward to watching Part II...
