This is only the second interview I´ve ever heard of Jussi. It´s very satisfying to hear him speaking candidly about the craft which he mastered so well. I must add that Mr. Björling seems to have had a delightful personality based on these interviews. I don´t hear a trace of arrogance, only gentle self-assuredness. Thanks for the upload!
Perhaps my Nr1 hero of tenors. As a matter of fact, I listen most to Jussi B. There is something in his voice, that goes right into my heart, listen to him. And thank you youtube for all videos and to all people who broadcast all the songs. One thing, I don’t hear that he mention Victoria des Los Angeles, that is strange, because they sang so wonderful together. I wonder if JB and V de LA sang together on the Met? He must have had a serious nice honest personality. This is a real gem!
