I have been in the same situation before. I made videos for a bit, mindset changed and stopped entirely. Mindset and mentality. Trying to change that myself. Best of luck Sensei Joe
Man... where have you been? the last time I saw you was you were in Norway and there was the Milo music cover and other anime covers Attack on Titan.. I think that was 2016 and you've nowhere to found after. I miss creepy timothy vlog. I'm glad you are back! Thanks for the update! looking forward to see your vlog and music. I'm glad you look well.
It definitely takes a lot of courage! To be honest I really feel you on only wanting the intention in a safe and peaceful environment but at the same time it feels like we would put ourselves behind sooo much by being afraid of filming our faces when creating content and stuff. You create awesome content tho really, from music to video to educational content and just know that on this side there's no one judging you! Quite the opposite, I'm excited to see what you create:) It'd suck to let that fear get to you so don't let it.
Good luck! ❤ it must be tough overcoming what you're going through. You got your communities support! Don't stress yourself too much and do one step after another. Even if it's small steps. You're doing good 😊 best wishes to you
Hi Joe .. im a relatively new subscriber, but I’m looking forward to your vlogs .. I truly feel if something keeps nagging at you to make changes, ya just gotta do it 👍🏻 all the power to you and wishing you well on your journey 🤗
That's totally true, the more you stay in your comfort zone the more it's going to be harder to "put yourself out" so to say. Like going to the gym, it's hard in the beginning. But I think filming yourself in public must be a harder mental block in the beginning until you get the ball rolling again. Keep it up ma boii!
Looking forward to your new content. As long as you keep healthy! (: PS: You know, I don't mind if the video is 30 seconds longer because you didn't cut out every single moment you don't talk. Seems like you used an editing tool to just cut out the quite moments? Makes it sound a bit unnatural when it is chopped up like this. I personally would enjoy future V-Logs more with less cuts. (:
Hey Joe, it's been a while since I've seen a video of you and I'm happy to hear that you're taking steps to both take care of yourself and putting yourself out there. That's a difficult thing to do and I'm proud of you for that!
The moment you realize this guy has hits upon hits and has been the forerunner in spreading JPOP across the world, and yet he is so down to earth and humble.
Glad you’re back at it! It says a lot that you’re facing the discomfort or anxiety you’re feeling head on, it’s hard and it’s the fastest way forward. Wishing you well!
Fully support your efforts, my guy! I fell in love with your Japa-knees lessons, and absolutely love how funny and creative you are. The journey of self-improvement is a slow one, but it comes with deliberate effort every day, so you have the right mindset. Keep it up, pace yourself, do a little bit of work on yourself every day, and remember to take breaks and be patient with yourself. Your work is great, and you make me want to be a better アースリング! 先生ジョー頑張れ!
Looking forward to hearing more of your music! :) your sense of melody as well as your vocal is very unique and resonates with me more than most other musicians! "Sekai no Kakera" is still one of my favourite musical pieces out there and is one of few songs that manages to lift me up whenever I hear it :)
It's actually relieving to know that joe sensei of all people is still struggling to speak/perform in public. Best of luck, all of us earthlings are rooting for you!
I can totally relate Joe. Covid and a recent breakup and other crap caused me to develop crippling agoraphobia. I used to travel a lot and go around my city (in the Philippines) but yeah…the recent 4 years have been crazy. It was so bad I couldn’t leave the house or (my room), let alone ride public transport or a plane without my parents, help, or friends with me (and I’m in my 30’s - with no professional mental health help - ironically I work on self-help videos as an artist). Take all the time you need to adjust, challenge yourself but also take the much needed break and pace yourself. Ganbatte kudasai!!
Great to hear you back sensei Joe! I also know what it feels like to be in a 'dark place' and falling down.. but it's great to hear you're actively coming back up! Also that feeling of people making vlogs looks like it's easy, I can also relate that 😂, I wanna dip my feet into this area too. Soon! By the way, sick jacket! Loving it !
Great to see you Joe and glad to hear you're feeling better about whatever got you down. As long as we're taking a step forward, that's what counts! Was just at Namba station! Wished I could've wished you well in-person. Leaving Osaka tomorrow and ending an amazing trip to Japan that I could never have dreamt to happen until just last year. Keep it up! 💪🏻
Nothing grows in your comfort zone Joe. I really like your content and glad you're taking good steps to keep doing something you enjoy. Good luck from London!
Hey Joe, I’m glad you’re living your life to the fullest just like you sang some years ago. You have brought so much happiness to many with your music and I hope you’re able to sit back and reflect on how much you’ve already achieved! Keep going Joe!
Just think that you're not gonna live forever and neither is the thing that you think is threatening you, so just think of it like nobody is sure what will happen tomorrow so just do what you gotta do today. Hope this helps
Your incognito friend from Cheese 'n Cows Country gives you a big hug. The Internet can and should be a space of caring. Exclusively. So here's my caring thoughts for you
Your shorts of Japanese words came perfectly at a time i started studying some Japanese and they've brought me happiness and motivated me. So i thank you for that and i hope you'll do more here and there but I'm excited for the vlogs too... Good luck with your mental health and everything❤
I've also been seeing a professional because of all of the things that have happened since 2020. It's really helped me. I hope that seeing a professional will also help you to have the tools to be your best self. We all support you!
let's go joe!! ive been having trouble resonating with the fact that being uncomfortable is the key to success. rooting for you, not just influentially!
I believe in you Joe! ❤ Thank you for sharing this. Online personalities really do make it look easy, don’t they? I can’t fathom doing it myself. But you know, you are an amazing content creator - I am constantly giggle-snorting aloud watching your stuff lmao. I always look forward to your updates. COVID is no joke, it completely fucks people around, even people like me who never actually caught it had their lives upended because of it. Psychologists still have months-long waiting lists for new patients in my country (Australia). Your persistence and courage will get you through this! Just keep going - keep talking to yourself in random places wearing obnoxious colours, like you’ve done here - and you will be back to vlogging like a badass in no time! 😊
