H S M similar to mw2 where just about every gun could get you kills because damage was sufficient, there were guns that were just hands down better but you could still succeed with any gun

I love the new ttk in CoD. I have gotten so many amazing flanks already. Gone are the days where it takes 11 rounds to take a guy out. I can actually get 3-4 with 1 mag.

Exactly! Ill never understand why some super useful gadgets come with a top tier gun. While Castle gets a trash gun and no one ever seems to suggest fixing him by giving him a better gun. Look at Alibi. Similar level of utility + top tier gun. If someone has a high utility gadget, their weapons should be on the weak side of the spectrum. Pulse for example is fine with ump because his gadget is so good.
Well, in terms of them making money it could go either way, a player like me won’t spend money on packs where something I want isn’t guaranteed, but if they made things direct purchase I would. So if there are other player like me the move could make them more money seeing as how many people would possibly go from refusing to spend money, to being completely willing to spend money.
Do you think that IQ should be able to detect when ops. have gadgets in their hands such as when bandit is going to bandit trick or smoke is going to smoke a hallway etc.?
What i actually think will happen is that both "jagers" will just be chosen every time and that nades will be useless. Which is why i think at least that they havent added another character like him.

On the CoD subject I think the Ttk is perfect especially for more competitive game modes like cyber attack but the I do feel like sometimes I’m getting hit behind cover

i reckon that the new Jager alternative will just be what they did for Bandit and Kaid; the new grenade counter will be able to throw his gadget so you can actively counter EMPs, smoke plants etc.
Sunday mailbox: what do you think of a revised ranked system where the amount of elo you lose is affected by how well you did. For example, if you were helping out your team, making calls, and getting kills, you lost less elo than someone who didn’t do so well. Or you would gain more elo when you win a game and do well or gain less elo if you got really carried. I think this system will make ranked more fun and help put people (especially people who solo que) in the correct rank for them.
How would you feel about a system where you have customization tabs on the load out screen for operators? Say you get 3 tabs to select from during operator selection and each tab you can pick different customizations for the OP. Say different skins/weapon loadouts.

I think the COD TTK is fine, so much of the game seems to be built around taking it slow and clearing things one step at a time (smokes, intel grenades, flash bangs with the right perks can be used basically every engagement no issue, leaning/mounting gun thing etc)
See the TTK of assault rifles, in modern warfare, seems to be blazing fast in close, mid, and long range and can most often kill snipers before they can line up a shot and cause a flinch if they hit the first shot so the sniper has no way to retaliate. They out class the submachine guns and lmgs entirely aswell. Anybody else feel the same way?
What do you think about an offensive shield operator who has microphones and speakers on his shield. He would have a passive ability that makes enemy footsteps/actions louder for himself and his teammates who are in close proximity of his shield. Also he would have a sound wave blast that would deafen and slightly disorientate enemies within his range when he executes it. It would have a similar effect to an Ella mine or echo drone blast. The heightened enemy sound detection would create great team synergy when clearing rooms for roamers etc. the sound blast would be great for pushing objectives, while enemies are deafened your team mates could breach from another direction. To balance him you’d have only 1 sonic blast and once you used it your speakers would be broken and you’d no longer have your passive increased enemy sounds ability.
What do you think about an operator who has the ability to throw 2 device at walls/hatches to that would then do a little animation to reinfore them, while still also having 2 regular reinforcements? This could definitely help stop hatch breaches in certain maps where you cannot reinforce hatches like coastline which is the bathroom right next to the penthouse.
What do you think about Ubisoft adding new weapon attachments? They could add hybrid sights to certain defensive operators or add extended magazines for some offensive operators but the total rounds would still equal the amount of regular ammunition.
I think that the TTK feels great in the new COD, although I do feel that the netcode could be tweaked. This is one of the first CODs where I don't feel like I'm shooting someone with a BB gun.
The first step they need to take in modern warfare imo is reducing the range and loudness of footstep audio. It is impossible to be quiet while moving around without have dead silence active, which isn't even a perk anymore.
The people who would only buy one or two skins instead of 20 packs would be added to the group of people who already don't buy packs but would buy skins. I don't buy packs, but I would throw $5 Ubi's way for each of those Halloween operator skins.
The thing nobody seems to talk about is that Jager's pick rate is so high because he's the best Fragger on defense. His gadget is good, yeah, but he's a 3 speed AND HIs gun is by FAR the best on defense. With the possible exception of Maestro.
#SundayMailbox What about a buff to fuze where if he is below a destructible floor, he can throw his cluster charge up and it will attach allowing him to fuze from below. This will make great fuze a lot less situational
I think the ttk on MW is fine and i think matimio hit the nail in the head ab the network speeds affecting the ttk experience for other players. Although it feels to some like you cant be aggressive in this game, i have to agree and disagree. I think the play-style between camping and aggressive play is map based and thats why im enjoying this COD experience. The layout of the maps actually affect the dynamics of how you should strategize your approach and utilize your loadouts. For instance a map like the palace requires you to pause and check your long angles the double sprint to cross the road or your next wall quickly. On the other hand, on a map like rammaza, i was running around and dropping onto people getting knife kills. This is a cod that I actually dont feel brainless to play and actually has some verticality to it. They have small items around the map the quickly get into vertical places to deceive opponents and make them look foolish. Do i think there are still a few changes the game needs to make? Of course, but overall i think infinity ward has done a good job with the game
What do you think about an operator that has access to tear gas? When deployed it could blur the vision of the defenders that are close, but the effect would go away faster and be less severe if you lay down, like a regular tear gas.
Hey mat what do you think if mute had a mobile jammer on him where he jams drones if he’s close to them or he’s just a complete counter to lion and dokkaebi. Maybe ubi could take one away or just leave the original number of jammers alone

I think that them doing the slower ADS on MW slows the game down, which is what people been kinda asking for, I've kinda been. I do like fast pace, MW can be that, but sometimes taking it slow in 2v2 and such can be fun.

What do you think about a hibana change where the red laser sight on her gadget alligns with recently placed pellets? it would be a sort of snap on feature that helps her make cleaner, less buggy holes that are easier to jump through

If I'm going to be honest, the event packs should be akin to loot llamas from Fortnite. You get the pack, and then you get the choice between a few options.
What do you think of a drag mechanic when a player goes down. Where you can only hipfire while you are dragging a teammate. I think it would help as I find a lot of people getting downed in Choke points and they simply can’t crawl fast enough to get out of danger. Awesome Vids!

I think people are already having trouble dealing with Monty, so it would be a bad idea for him to walk around with 2 attackers hanging off him, plus you could always just peek around him easily.
Yea but the thing is... Who would u take out of the teamcomp to make room for both Jager and Jager 2.0. U have Bandit or Kaid, Jager, Valk, Echo or Lesion, Mira, Maestro... There just isnt enough room for both of them.

Question for the next Sunday Mailbox - Do you think Battlefield V should have a realism mode similar to Modern Warfare? With the pacific now launching I’d love to have a mode with no hud to really see how beautiful everything is but don’t want to put myself at a massive disadvantage, and turn off my hud in normal servers
I bet that gridlock’s pickrate is gonna skyrocket with another anti-nade operator since her gadget is the only throwable in the whole game (currently) that’s inmune to the gadgets

A good way to nerf jaeger. Reduce his ads amount to 2 instead of 3, but give each ads one more shot to catch grenades. This way he has a tougher decision to make when placing his ads down.
I wanna see a netcode fix in MW first... The beta played really well and I feel like a lot of the problems is coming from seeing ppl with pings over 50 and higher
Do you think siege should host a tournament style server 2x a week as a test, a go4 style tournament on the ranked queue? The reward for winning a game would be 2-3x the normal elo, and you can only iniatate a game with a five stack? Maybe winning 2-3 games in a row leads to a guaranteed legenedary or epic alpha pack, no duplicates? I'm curious to see what you would think about something like this!
They should make the event packs rewarded just like the alpha packs you get in the normal games if you win you get a spin if you lose you only gain a chance to win. Takes like 10 ganes or so for me to even win these packs or more so I see if you invest a large amount of time playing you should be rewarded for it.
