One of my big issues about console is that you cannot report for ddosing a console server, I have played against this where they ddos the server so that they can plant or defuse without dying.
༼D347h210P5༽ ཾ *lobby freezing. Ubisoft has said that people who say they got ddosed when it was a lobby freeze makes it harder and slower for them to address the issue. So for future reference people, that is lobby freezing
Masked smoke, lobby freezing is when somebody holds you hostage in your lobby before the game even starts during the loading faze of the round just before the game starts. The original comment about ddos planting or defusing safely is correct that is a ddos
One thing that is really annoying on console is when I’m in ranked, I feel like I need a 5 stack in bc people always leave the game and don’t come back and it is so frustrating
I only play ranked with a stack...Which i almost never have, which i almost never play ranked for that reason. Stack is the way to go, other wise dont.

There’s a bug on console where a teammate will join into a match that hasn’t even started and will infinitely load and never allow the match to start. It sucks that they either end up leaving or they get kicked.
Charles Loach agreed like a block feature for team mates, although I'm sure it would be tough if you got a realky good team mate some people might block them so they don't have to play again them
The problem is people will abuse this sytem and ban people they dont want to play with just because they are better than them. Golds always call every plat - Diamond player a cheater, just because they have insane game sense
Ying still had 4 candelas until Steel Wave came out on console, nearly 7 weeks after she had one removed on PC. I think that fact alone shows that PC is favored.
Krash Landon idk about your claim with “buckoo bucks” i’d say console brings in a tonne of revenue, so it makes sense for ubi to want to get their updates out faster like elite skins etc. Maybe Ubi is just lazy, it wouldn’t be first time they have been but other devs go thru the same checks when their updates go live aswell. I think most titles halt their updates so they release on the same day as console but i do agree that siege feels longer and is longer in getting their updates out compared to Modern Warfare for example.
@@Evp3 because people can directly plug in their mouse and keyboard to play mw. People on siege have to buy an adapter which I think is called a xim. They plug their mouse and keyboard into this xim which then plugs into the console. The xim translates the mouse and keyboard input into controller input which is undetectable.
I can’t even describe the amount of issues on console, the closest I can get is the iceberg meme format where the tip is just mouse n key but there’s so much more
The sound on console is sooooo much worse than pc, and there’s often a glitch where sound comes from the opposite side like right/left and can only be fixed by resetting your game
TBH, Ubisoft should enable the console versions so Mouse and Keyboard is officially supported in the controls. That way Ubisoft can detect M+K and block those players from playing with controller players.
I’ve been in plat 1-3 for years on Console. The main problems are: solo queuing is almost impossible, ddosing every 1 in 10 games, mnk players in every game, smurfs, and the skill ceiling is much lower on console
TSAthirty on PC you have leaning without ADS and also you are aiming with a mouse instead of a joystick so in general PC players will have better aim than console. On console you are limited to whatever your sensitivity is so if you want to be really fast you are forced to run a high sensitivity while on PC you’re as fast as your hand/ arm can move
Brenden Pencak ddosing isn’t much of an issue anymore. Ubisoft even has published a chart showing that the attacks have gone down to nearly zero over the past months. Cause when it comes to it, to avoid being banned you’d have to basically change your ip every match. And even then still you’ll likely get banned. Lobby freezing though is a different issue. Still very rare though. (Coming from a high plat/diamond territory player since alpha of siege)
I havent played siege in nearly a year now. i still love the game but playing on console isnt fun anymore. Keyboard players are complete cancer to the console community
Actually do something and encourage the community to report cheating, when someone is using a mouse and keyboard. when I report someone who is using a mouse and keyboard seemingly I continue to see them in future matches no matter how many people report them as cheating
I’m still wanting “progress transfer” from console to pc, I’m a lvl 300 with most of the elites, team skins, high plat/ diamond rank etc, and I’m switching to pc and I’m going to go down to lvl 0 and have nothing in the game
The reason why people Vote to Kick, is bcz the load time increases when someone joins, so those people just decide to kick them instead of waiting for them to join...
If feels like there is just no communication when it comes to console. It is also ridiculous that consoles had to deal with 4 candella ying for over a month longer than pc.

One of my biggest problems, being a silver/gold type of guy, is nearly every other game someone is throwing, on one of the teams they run around breaking gadgets, teamkilling, and whatever else
Mouse and keyboard issue solution I spoke with a gentleman on reddit who had the idea of a system that can detect movement inputs, see on console you input movement through the analog stick, which obviously has a much wider range of movement than the keyboard wasd. The system will detect if the person is solely inputting up down left right, as to the much more variable analog inputs, this would I think solve the problem.

The only problem is that Ubisoft have royally fucked up their engine. (There using an engine thats supposed to be used for 3rd person, single player, open world game.) And a system like that would require a complete rework of there engine as the movement system is probably a part of the core engine.
A few weeks ago I tried to teach my girlfriend how to play siege and every match we got in a vote would start to kick her simply because she’s never played a shooter and we were casual. You know. The more for players to learn the game. Toxicity is so bad on siege that she almost stated crying simply because she was a new player. Toxic players need to be handled soon in my opinion.
Recently I solo queued the house discovery and I joined like 5 straight matches in progress with 1 round left. I have no clue why I ONLY get put into ongoing games and I got kicked probably 3 of those matches.
I’d accept joining one in let’s say the middle of the first round, but why am I being forced to join at the very end of the second round and play like less than half of the match

They've updated their terms of service and now smurfing with the intention of ruining others experiences is now bannable. So hopefully ubi is working on a system to detect that.
Nimja Detecting a smurf is impossible; no matter how well someone does, they could just claim that they are high rank in some other game and are thus doing well. Ubi can't really counter that argument.
Phantom Stranger yeh they can you can detect if they have other accountants that play seige. And which ever account is the higher level should be left alone while ther one he banned
Console player here - Another issue I have is that someone with a friend can act as toxic as they want with no chance of being kicked due to the fact a kick must be unanimous. Adjacent issue is that these players can also teamkill someone over multiple rounds by rotating who does the killing, shutting people out of playing with again zero repercussions.

i’ve been commenting this on monday mailboxes for a while now and it never shows up in the video, also i’ve been reporting cheaters for years now and never seen one banned
That isn't ubi's fault though. They don't own the networks console players are playing on. Sony and MS do. So ubi is pretty limited in what they can do. They cant go in and ban someone's PSN account, for example. It has to go through Sony and MS.

@@MarksterC It is an esport already (One of the biggest at that). As well as it gives the player that almost killed you the advantage. Without this the player who shot you down to a couple of health would get no reward or advantage from doing so.
Every match on console seems to have one specific player that utterly eclipses everyone else in the lobby skillwise, even in Casual. Getting 1v4 dumpstered by an Ash/Cav one trick every round just isn't fun.
I 100% agree, and im that one person. I can only imagine how annoying it. But it seriously is an issue there should be no reason im constantly getting 10+ kills every single match. They need to find a way to balance it.
Sunday mailbox: Is rainbow six siege getting too defender sided? Do attackers need a large buff? I feel this game is becoming less and less siege and more of a game called “who is going to get defense in overtime.” Especially on maps like theme park, outback, kanal, and consulate.
Liam West fr especially now with proximity alarms (which aren’t incredible but still a buff to defense) and the absolute monster that is Melusi. And obviously the dozens of defender operators and gadgets that completely outnumber offense
I can’t stand when people leave at the start, this happens to me so many times I queue up for ranked and 1-2 players on my team leave, ubi really needs to do something about this
The main reason to kick someone from a casual match before even loading is usually because the game has to load said person, it gets stuck and then takes around 2-3 minutes to finally load. So people usually do that to avoid the loading time

Console toxicity is unreal. Three matches back to back to back, tk'ed, kicked, and kicked again. Random tk, and kicked twice after I couldn't clutch 1 v 5. I swear this game...
smurfs on console isnt something they can realistically deal with tho i dont think. I dont know much about consoles, but i do know you only need to pay for the game and online membership once, and you can make many different accounts essentially for free
I think a way in which they can stop smurfs is if they limit the amount of accounts on a console which can play competitive shooters like r6 or overwatch and prevent too many accounts if they have very little gamerscore or trophies
The TIMBADGE here’s the biiiiigggg issue with that if people keep kicking and ruining the game for new players the new players will never get good,gain experience, and lose interest in the game your essentially hurting the game and player base
The TIMBADGE and you have to understand siege has a huge learning curve and the newcomers playlist is filled with smurfs so new players most likely won’t even be good past level 50 and below
I was one of the very frustrated comments about m&k on console last week and I'm glad you decided to bring this up. I understand Ubisoft can't do anything about it but I'm glad the issue is being talked about
Don’t know if this is just a console thing but I’ve had experiences with a teammate leaving and my team never gets a fill; however the four-man squad on the enemy team will go though TEN PEOPLE because they want to be cool or something. Find that really frustrating.
Same thing happens to me, except for me, we’ll be down 3v5 from round 1, but as soon as one player from the enemy team leaves they’re immediately replaced
A solution for console mnk they should try is like what fornite did with their cross platform. If u have a mnk plugged into a console, u would que with mnk lobbies, whether it was pc mnk users or other console mnk users.
I don’t wanna sound like a fortnite fan boy or smth, bu for everyone who was skeptical about adding this saying the game isn’t cross platform, they can add it like what fortnite did in their game. This won’t totally eliminate mnk users for console entirely but it will definitely help a lot.
that paint attacker is pretty cool, it can work like an impact and if it hits a defender they can do a “wipe paint” animation or else their vision is blocked. just like hitting a lesion trap
The paint grenade guy is one of the few operator suggestions on here that I feel has any kind of potential. Sounds like a fun thing to mess around with! Perhaps at the same time it could gum up bulletholes in walls to a limited extent.
It is a problem in PC as well I think if there is a nearby table/counter/etc the game thinks your appealing onto it jumping you into the air in the glitchiest bullshit ever.
the fact that they fix stuff and nerf/buff stuff on PC but make the console players wait. For Example, when they nerfed ying. they made consoles players play against a OP ying.
For a reference on how bad it actually is..... the last 3 seasons I've played on xbox 6 out of ten or more of my placement matches have been altered by booting or stressing players

As someone who has switched from ps4 to pc siege I can attest to the vast amount of problems with consoles siege. XIM users, toxic player base with a report system that doesn't work, lack of team communication and the fact that ubisoft themselves pay little attention to the console playerbase. I'm glad I was able to switch itxh platforms and I urge others to save up and do the same.
They should really make add custom button mapping and add voice chat options like push to talk on console, that's the biggest reason why most people don't communicate.
What do you think about adding an option in the game where the additional press of the spacebar to exit the rappel animation is optional like the Standard and Advanced setting currently in-place for Gadget Deployment? Been playing since Chimera and I've spent alot of time becoming a good window player, that additional press really does mess it up for me sometimes (especially on Consulate).
Hello, what do you think about operator, who have a drones with self destruction functions, with damage, like impacts? It will be a nice way do destroy deployable shields and traps\gadgets behind it. Also it looks like a cool counter to Clash and can be used instead of Tatcher or Kali to clean the walls.
How about being able to turn more when rappelling, so many runouts where the attacker is locked and cant turn to aim at the defender, I usually panick, go down, and forget i gotta click “A” to unrappel now, and usually die...
That's why there's nomad, claymores, drones, etc. You have to remember the run outs and try and bait them out. You can also just upside down repel or have someone watch them.
#sundaymailbox Similar to the paint idea in this video, what about adding a trap operator that has a paint style kapkan trap where when an attacker walks through the trap their feet get covered and they leave footprints for a certain number of steps.
That just sounds like combining Jackal and Kapkan into a less powerful operator. Also, I’ve stepped in paint before and you only leave noticeable prints for a few steps before only small spots are left.
The idea about the paint nade is that it would cover the operator for a certain amount of time with paint and make them stand out similar to what the rainbow is magic color pallet is
Hey Matt, what do you think about a defender operator that has a gadget that can block drone holes and bottom of barricades. He would have 4 of the blockers that could be destructible. I feel like some objectives (Chalet, Garage) that rely heavily on the drone holes and would add an interesting dynamic to the game.
One Thing I think that they need to sort out is the skill based matchmaking because my random teammates aren't the best, and then the other squad is like a full plat squad.

They should add a operator that can clog rotation holes with a foam similar to the base of ela mines? For a period of time or it can be destroyed by a knife similar to a barricade

A lot of the time there’s a vote to kick is because if someone joins during operator select then sometimes the round won’t start till about 3-4 minutes later but if the person does get kicked then it starts right away
What do you think about Operators getting passive abilities. Either for newer operators or some weaker gadget operators in the game currently receiving them
Just fix the recoil patterns for controller as it takes a while for new players to be able to control weapons like the f2' smg-11, Mx4 storm and so forth
Your saying they should completely remove the recoil system because new players cant control recoil well. The whole reason good players are so much better than new players is because they've overcome those challenges and improved as a player.
On console from my experience if you join during the selection screen it takes a while to start the round so that’s where the vote to kick problem comes in

Recently there has a been server issues on console. You would connect with everything ok then get errors halfway through a search or disconnect halfway through a ranked game.
