@@Lunatic89097 Of course it is. Each handgun has its own perks. In terms of pure damage, Blacktail and Red 9 are the way to go. The default starting handgun gets crit headshots as its bonus upgrade, and the 2nd handgun (forgot name) gets piercing bullets as its bonus upgrade.

Nope; just Jack Krauser & Krauser;(mustve used Double Team; to make copies of himself) that crafty bastard Krauser; and his ability to make separate copies of himself like that!

Well; I guess I WAS wrong about the Mine Thrower; after all then. Sorry about that. I just never used it before. Besides the Infinite Launcher; the Matilda; the PRL-412; which stands for: Plagas Removal Laser 412; which instantly kills everyone with lasers. And has no charge up; just insta-kills everything onscreen(except Leon and Ashley; I think?) But I never beat RE4 on Pro mode before. I've only heard about how good the PRL412 is. And is the final reward you get for beating the game on Pro mode. But I was barely good enough to get past Salazar when the game first came out in 2005. Just used the Rocket Launcher on every boss. I was bad at the game back then. And I hope I can actually do it this time. With or without the Verdugo fight in the elevator. You can just turn and leave; once you turn the power back on; and head for the elevator. But you miss out on the Crown Jewel if you don't kill Verdugo. But then again; it's already a nearly impossible boss fight on Pro; even if you freeze him; so it may not be worth it. But this game's still my favorite RE game; and Leon's still my favorite RE protagonist; and still the best one(who needs Chris?) I like Chris; but since we have Leon and his awesome hair; do we need Chris? Just asking.

@@jacoblarson8113 I honestly and seriously didnt know the Minethrower is this Good till i saw it for the First Time in this Playthrough. I never tried it over 100 hours of RE 4.

nah bro he was clearly being sarcastic, its pretty obvious this was never making to remake as it makes no sense and is completely out of place even in the og, besides this part practically is in the game its just another gigante chasing you (well throwing rocks) instead.

Such a underrated weapon, all due to badmouthing and noobs refusing to use something new.

I never touched the mine thrower but after this playthrough I'm starting to see it was actually kind of cool. With the manual detonations or sticking one ganado in the face and kicking it into a group to explode

I used it in every regular playthrough. It's actually a pretty good weapon. It made Saddler a joke of an opponent as well.

Meme weapon? That's a absolute treasure of a weapon you just don't know how to play.

@@alwaysxnever possible, he often does things to spite chat. Like not emptying weapons before cap upgrades on a more normal playthrough

I don't know; I agree with Leon here. She does look cute without the glasses sure. But; you do have a point too; dude; the yellow-ish eyes are a little freaky; yeah. Like she's wearing yellow contacts; or something? I never noticed it before beating the Wii version though. But Hunnigan pretty much does look like an infected villager or something there; for about a few seconds; like she's about to leap from the screen and try and eat my head or something. If it weren't for her asking about the status of the mission; or the casual talk between her and Leon; I definitely would've been freaked out by Hunnigan. Which is weird; because I thought she looked and sounded just fine earlier in the game; and thought there'd be something between her and Leon later on; or at the very end of the game; it sure sounded like it. But her appearance in RE6 is less creepy though; and she doesn't look like a zombie; trying to eat your face; in RE6. 6 is still a slightly disappointing RE game; but the game itself is alright. But nothing can top RE4; which is clearly the best RE game ever. And Leon's easily the best RE protagonist ever too.

That would be interesting because that would almost feel a bit like early on in RE3, when Jill is still interacting with a few normal people who are just trying to not fucking die. Having Leon go through something similar, just in Spain, at a different time. It would be a cool juxtaposition.

Given the new stealth controls, maybe the island will be more of a stealth action section at least for the first bit

@@foxymanaic5934 Yeah; I only remember buying the one Castle treasure map; don't remember seeing 5 other ones. You only need to buy the maps once; because on repeat rounds; the maps carry over; like upgrades and the weapons. That way; you never have to waste money on them again. Because you already have them. Or; if you've played through pretty much every version of RE4; you've memorized the entire game's maps; front to back; but the Castle and Island are so freaking HUGE; it's nearly impossible to memorize them. Not sure if the Remake does this though; or if it even has Separate Ways; or the PRL-412; or Ada. Or if they ACTUALLY make Ashley less annoying? Who knows? It would still be my favorite RE game though; and Leon's still my favorite RE character too. I just wish it were for the Switch too...not that I don't enjoy the Switch port; or any other version of RE4(aka; the best game ever); but I don't have a PS5.

I don't know why I agreed with you when you asked about the multiple maps, there NEVER is, I'll change that. Yes and no, the remake has Separate Ways but DOESN'T have the PRL-412. Oh she's definitely less annoying. Oh trust me, Leon is one of my favourites too, I've always loved him as a character, he's awesome, for many reasons.

@@foxymanaic5934 Wow; the entire chapter? I've been playing RE4 since the day it first came out on GameCube; and I never knew that; thanks. But you don't have to change your comment; but if you want to; then go right ahead. It's great to know the remake has Separate Ways. But I'm ok without the PRL-412. I couldn't get it in the original anyways. It sure looked cool though. And they actually did it? Made Ashley LESS annoying? It's about time. Not that I didn't believe that they couldn't make her less annoying. I mean; she's an innocent college girl who gets kidnapped by a former friend of Leon's; who; as it turns out was working for Wesker the entire time; and so; their entire campaign together; which is the entirety of the Darkside Chronicles story; which is the sequel to the Umbrella Chronicles; which are both games that retell the events of certain RE games; all while trying to tell its own story of Leon's time as a government agent; and mainly focused on when he was working with Krauser; and the both of them were trying to protect some guy's daughter; and the story's mainly there to be the tie-in to the story of RE4; and it's mainly there to show how Krauser got the Plagas arm thing in the first place. (It's a spoiler though). And it also shows WHY Leon looks depressed at the very beginning of RE4. But I suggest playing DC though. It's a retelling of RE2; 3; and CV; (way before we got the remakes of RE2 and 3); and is the essential way of experiencing the events of CV. Not that I think CV is a bad game; or anything. But the way it's story is retold through Leon's eyes; and having Steve Burnside being voiced by Sam Riegel; really helps him be more likeable and sympathetic as a character. But Leon's still my favorite RE protagonist. Sorry if I went on too long though.
