Whew! That's spanky! Gotta love a Tele man- you can recognize it so easy. Well, actually- you can if it's being played that way- I've also seen them used in heavy metal bands and you would've never guessed that's what they were playing until you saw it. Of course, it was the HSS flavor- which I'm not sure should even be called a Telecaster. The Telecaster is so defined by the early, single coil, twangy, spanky, country thing- once you change it to a humbucker and make it rock- to me, it's not a Tele anymore. It sounds amazing, I'd love to have one- but it's not a Tele. That thing- what you guys are playing- that's a Tele. And Alex seems to be pretty good at playing it like a Tele- well done man.
Yup, that's a decent thinline . It would be handy to hear how it differs from a tele in a like series. I am a fan of thinlines, but not really this... I much prefer an early 70s custom. In fact that's one of my dream guitars (because I wanna be my hero Mick Jones 🤣) Like the 'new' format... Cheers!
It's just a really nice guitar. I like the sounds. This guitar is not too expensive... A Telecaster has to be in my collection, but I'm still not sure what I will choose... 🙃
You can plan all you want but when you play one it could even be a squire and capable of stealing your heart. I went with an am pro ii for my first tele. No regrets!
