Just got my Sweet Corn

This is 5lbs of Ambrosia Sweet Corn. Should plant about an acre. Bought this from 4 the Grower. I've planted Ambrosia before but first time getting from this supplier. Hopefully can keep the critters out of it. Won't be able to plant here until sometime after June 1st. Had our last frost May 29th last year.

Man yeah looking fwd to seeing this growing Mr Robert! I hope it does well.and you can sell a little of it!! 😉😁 I wanted to try a little.with the planter, but the deer would never let it grow😳😳🤦🤦 Thank you for the unboxing my friend!!

Hey Nelson yeah my biggest worry is will the deer get it. I'm afraid might not get any corn with all the deer around here but thought I'd give it a try

@@Pennies_on_the_dollar spread some human hair around your sweetcorn if you try to grow some Nelson, they'll never mess with it.

Thanks Scott. I hope so. Have a lot of deer here so kinda worried about keeping them out of the corn. We'll see hiw it goes.

LOL Ed the more I think about the raccon key chain makes me wonder if they ain't trying to tell me something. I'm a little more worried about the deer eating it but my cousin didn't even plant sweet corn last year because of the coons and he is just a little way up the road from me.

Ambrosia is one of our all time favorites. We've been planting it since the 90s. Another one we really like is serendipity, and jackpot.... as far a the critters go..... if you can go to Barber and ask for a bag of hair. I know it sounds weird but spread that through you sweet corn patch and you will have no problems with critters I promise. Wait until it's about to fruit so they don't get used to the sent over the summer. It works as good, if not better than an electric fence.

Hey Tim yeah I really like Ambrosia been growing it for a few years. Used to grow a variety called Sugar Dots that was pretty good. I heard about used human hair before. Was thinking about electric fence but left my charger in GA and don't really want to buy another one. I still have a month before I can plant here so got time to think about what I'm gonna do
