@@uhoh7545 well, charged fujin doesn't advance nearly as far, so after something like CS>2S or 2K>2D he will not be in range of the throw if they are mashing it. He can also cancel into hop early, which is airborne and beats throws. they're risky options, but it's Anji... He's literally an RPS machine with the best guts in the game, He'll take a bunch of throws or 2P mashes and then counterhit you once and win the game. Mixing up throw with backdash to escape anji will frustrate him into more mistakes though, really good knowledge to have so you aren't caught in his blockstrings forever.

It is public knowledge, it's just not a good idea to just mash throw in your opponents blockstrings to target fuujin. If they charge fuujin or do something else, Oops got counter hit for 50%

well, he can delay fujin by holding the button to mixup his timing and empty cancel into hop or fan toss which are airborne. So he can risk it for a 60-75% counterhit combo if they are throwing predictably. But it's a read, as is everything anji does. If the have a DP however... you're guessing on your offense all the time and it just sucks

It's not real. Having gaps in your offense and setting a training dummy to react with throw doesn't mean the character has bad offense. If you never punish throw attempts by baiting it and getting a massive counterhit starter as a reward you deserve to get thrown every single time. It means what we've always known: Anji players are professional downplayers because they think not being able to auto-pilot their offense and force a 50/50 without the opponent being able to interact with you means the character is just bad.

Not really. A lot of these are spacing dependent or buttons you shouldn’t be going right into Fuujin on very often anyway because you still have another gatling. You can react to Rin with throw but otherwise these are all complete predictions. Just a meme

hold down the button to delay the advancing part of fujin, early cancel hop or toss end blockstring in projectile to encourage opponents to press buttons more rather than throw, which makes them vulnerable to frame traps. In previous patches good defence like this made some MU's near impossible (DP OS on fujin, thrown out of mixups, no bounce on HS) But now our reward is just so high, that on hit we're getting 40% and above reliably, and if they're right they get to escape, a 2K>2D starter or a throw. This usually means we're doing okay... there's just a few characters who get exceptional reward off these like potemkin, nago, HC, Jack-O. Watch Jiro and see how often he does empty hop, uses throw in his pressure or backdashes to bait a tech.
