Ingredients:
Potatoes 1kg. / 2.2 pounds
1 medium onion.
2 chicken eggs.
2 pinches of salt.
1/3 teaspoon nutmeg.
Black pepper to taste.
Vegetable oil for frying.
Cooking method:
Peel potatoes and onions and grate on a fine grater. Squeeze the liquid from the grated potatoes and onions, add eggs, salt, nutmeg and black pepper. Mix the ingredients. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Place on paper towels to remove excess fat. Serve potato pancakes with sour cream.
