The man is repulsive. He sits on a load of high end luxury apartments in the south coast, worth millions, he puts up the rents yearly way above inflation (18% last year). He rakes in god knows how much from rentals and he says its a personal matter. No, it is not. His income from these is a public matter. Funny how he got done for nor declaring these revenues.. saying it was an oversight!!! And he digs at Rayner for selling her council house. Vile man.
Hunt is also a buy-to-let landlord and owns a group of seven flats in a waterside development in Southampton valued at £600,000 and £850,000 each terraced townhouse in Pimlico he bought in 2010 for a shade under £1.7m million. Then there is Hunts Surrey mansion
If the journalist ( so called) was one, she would have reeled off the properties he owns, because he wishes to duck the question. But they don't do that in case the MP's won't speak to them again. Tit for tat... its what causes lies to be spun as truth...
He had a fkd up business selling jam to Japan. But then he made millions with a computer training business. I presume he wasn't the brains behind the operation because the man's a total fkwit.
Yes you adequately reflect how he has no idea. After all he doesn't see the country 80% of us endure. Consider. If you go private for dental care you have no idea that there are waiting lists running into years, in some instances, for NHS Dentistry. Not for treatment; just to be accepted as a patient. Lots of NHS practices are not accepting any new patients at all. When they do accept new patients we see queues stretching for miles around blocks on the national news. The real problem is they feel no shame at all.
Hunt says people vote Conservative because they trust them.with their family's money and the economy. Well, there it is, nobody has a reason to vote Tory, they've demonstrated that both of those have been trashed...
I have found people vote Tory because they are aspirational. Labour does not (usually) fill this aspect. However, older Brits might remember Tony Blair in the early years - things can only get better etc., almost mimicking the Tories. Then, it was hard to distinguish Labour from Conservatives especially as Labour adopted their spending plans (initially). Now they once again look similar mainly because the Conservatives are now socialists. Socialize costs and socialize poverty too. Their old accusation of Labour, that they tax and spend, cannot be dragged out without looking stupid. One thing he knows and was ably demonstrated both with the Brexit referendum and with returning Boris Johnson as Prime Minister with an 80+ majority three years after the Brexit vote, is that the electorate of the UK are gullible. It is this gullibility that Hunt is trying to exploit.
He's been absolutely useless in every role he's ever been in with this government. How he keeps going from department when he's absolutely shocking is beyond me
Hunt was brought in following the disastrous Truss mini budget to calm the markets and achieved this very effectively. The current budget was highly praised by Martin Lewis the Money Saving Expert who claimed credit for it as it included most of the recommendations he had made to Hunt.
He just gives off proper serial killer vibes. If you've ever seen pics of Ted Bundy you'll know what I'm talking about. The grinning, remorseless stare. Brrrr
@@frasercook5823 Charterhouse, however the fact that Hunt is a descendant of Sir Streynsham Master, a pioneer of the East India Company, says everything we need to know about him, entitled landed gentry!!!!
I love how he refers to giving money via the furlough scheme as if it was the government being kind to the povos. It's our money to have in the first place 😂😂😂
That's their MO. The energy bill support scheme for eg. allows them to say "aren't we benevolent, you plebs" without actually *doing* anything to stop record profits or bring the cost of energy down
@craigham93 After the 2020 worldwide financial crash, that made the 2008 crash look like storm in a teacup, which to date has been renamed 3 times and all but hidden from sight. Who benefitted the most from the worldwide borrowing, including furlough?
@@boota1979 God knows who benefitted. I worked through it, so I certainly didn't. The point is, it's our money. We pay the government to dish it out. They don't get to tell us that they're being benevolent. This is all the more reason to get those two rich dick heads out of office because not only do they not have a fucking clue. They also don't give a toss.

Jeremy Hunt is the archetypal villain's sidekick. He has a special type of sneering laugh that tells you how much he relishes the misfortune of others.
@@RenegadeShepTheSpacer but they did vote tory! The rules are that PMs can be replaced. Labour has done the same. The working class idiots voted tory and stabbed Corbyn in the back. DID YOU!
@@DrMontague When Brown replaced Blair, there was general outrage because the Tories falsely blamed him for the economic crisis and thousands of morons believed them. Turnabout is fair play, only the Tories are genuinely responsible for over a decade of austerity and economic mismanagement, so they deserve the scorn and general hatred. "DID YOU!" What the fuck are you talking about? Are you okay?
Hunt was health secretary between 2012-2018 under Cameron and May with Tory austerity he implemented what he called efficiency saving (cuts to the NHS) which left the NHS in a bad position.
"they trust us with the economy and they trust us with their family's money" Sure, because you've had a great track record of that over the last 14 years -_-
This government has consciously driven the NHS into its current state. James Hunt is a big advocate for privatisation, with world-beating, record-breaking waiting lists opening the doors for private businesses to take advantage of high-profit guaranteed taxpayer money.
How many people can afford to pay for private health care? What do they do or will the Tories open death houses ( just like the Victorian workhouses) as they won't want people lying about the street dying.
Love Beth Rigby. Particularly when she's in Downing St shouting random questions that never get an answer! "Are you a waste of space Prime Minister?" As for Jeremy (Cue Victoria Derbyshire) I can't wait for Election Night, where hopefully, the smug git will experience his own Portillo/Mellor moment!
"Ministerial duties" now includes making unfounded, libelous, allegations on a personal Tw@tter account resulting in death-threats to an academic, and we foot the bill. As for the Sword-Wielder-in-chief's defense of Donelan... "The leader of the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt, has also defended Donelan, telling MPs the minister was of good character because she returned a redundancy payment from her brief time as education secretary in the final days of Boris Johnson’s premiership." 56 six days she was a minister, probably for the best for educations sake Talking of Bunter, we also paid for his extortionate lawyers fees an a failed bit to prove he hadn't lied to parliament. On and on it goes. These bastards have bled the country dry, are busy salting the earth behind them, and laughing about it.
Energy prices high because of the war? then how do you explain the 900% profit by British Gas from 2022-23 just in the first half on the year. To me, that doesn't sound like its because of the War in Ukraine
Loads of things to pull him up on here. This one is bit dated now but I hate how people let him get away w/ saying 'furlough saved 10m jobs'. Millions of self-employed were completely excluded from it and only got a smaller scheme much later and millions of the people on furlough (myself included) merely had our unemployment delayed by a couple of months. And I personally had to organise w/ my colleagues to force our employer put us on it in the first place and that was when it was at no cost to them! As soon as the govt asked employers to contribute millions of us lost our 'saved' jobs.
Look he didn't join the Tory party to answer questions about policy or how it personally benefits him. He joined the Tory party to blame Labour and question them about their innocuous actions.
No he is the result of the laboratory getting an experiment catastrophically wrong. It has to be true, no self respecting parent would admit to actually bearing such a noxious creation.
How are Mr Sunak's 5 pledges going ? Still, at least those tax cuts will help you fund a private dentist and private doctor ! The only way nowadays to ensure good health !
Jeremy and total denial are obviously great mates! The BBC appraisal was spot on! You wasted billions.. billions.. Jeremy, enriching your friends! Germany had a track and trace system that cost 5.5 billion and it worked! £34 billion later, we got nothing! The electorate support you Jeremy? In your dreams! I know of no-one that believes this! The Moody Blues sang "Go now"! Unlike this government, big hit and extremely pertinent today! 😂
Unfortunately, propaganda down the years has worked wonders and some people do genuinely believe this to their core despite all evidence to the contrary.
The only reason I can think of that accounts for the delusional state the slimy bastard lives in he is permanently high on some type of hallucinogenic drug. Maybe all MPs should be given random drug tests.
A budget that was only really good for middle class workers and top business earners! As a working class person on an average wage (nowhere near the £60k-£70k like they are playing is the average family household wage), I will be lucky for this to have affected me by £100 maximum over a year. The personal tax allowance needs go up. Minimum wage has gone up and the personal tax allowance needs to go up too.
Why tax working people like that? The higher earners don't need to lag more tax that already pay 50%. It's wealthy people who don't work, who just pay the minimum on their assets that need to pay more.
That's totally socialist nonsense, it's not income that's the issue - if you make a product or a service that yields you a very high income (Aka you're increasing GDP), you should be able to eat from the fruits of your labour. Most rich people in the uk just live off of investments, I'd propose a flip, lower income tax higher capital gains. Therefor you would encourage people actually do something instead of sitting on money.
@@mydogeatspuke bojo is a tory, he was leader of the tory party, the people knew this and voted the tories in and stabbed Corbyn in the back.. I might as well have debated with sheep. Baa Baa Baa Baa. Now the sheep are being slaughtered.
@@DrMontague I'm well aware of who Boris is lmao. Doesn't change the fact that literally nobody actually voted for him, at least not as PM. Because we don't vote for the PM. We vote for our local MP who represents a party. Anyone who ignored what the ballot actually said and decided to vote for a random Tory with the hopes that Boris would win shouldn't have been allowed to vote in the first place. You should at least be literate to be allowed to vote.
Not quite. So i listened live to that interview. It began with the interviewer saying due to the fiscal drag effect of holding the tax thresholds still, Hunt had earned the name of The Fiscal Drag Queen. There was also another nickname used at some point. In both cases Hunt said he hadnt heard this nicknames before. And he raised it a couple of times. So it wasnt quite out of nowhere, and further he never used it as a culture war weapon. That being said, i also want to clarify that Hunt is an absolute worm
These MPs are on the career roundabout. They deliver nothing and get rewarded with the next big job when their ‘pal’ takes office. Need to get rid of these career politicians
This hunt thinks we can't see through his lies! This budget does not help anyone but the rich Conservative MP's! Michelle donelly should be fired, disgusting behaviour!
What has happened to our National Insurance Premiums and Benefits? 40 years ago I worked and lived in South Africa, a country without any welfare. So I paid for Health, Unemployment and Pension to a private insurance company. Premiums were low and benefits high. People making a claim were treated as customers. National Insurance was introduced to replace Britain’s private insurance. But now the link between premiums paid and benefits has been lost and NI has become just a tax. But that link to premiums still exists for us pensioners. I receive the maximum state Pension because I’ve always worked full time and so paid the full premium. But my wife only worked part time and so has not paid the full premiums receives only the minimum state pension. So I wouldn’t like to know, who first began dipping their hands into our insurance premiums?
Womp womp, nobody cares. We’ll get nothing and we’re paying in for yours and your wives pension whilst having to save privately for ours. Cry me a river old man.
Who do we blame for people like hunt being so successful in our society? I am 56, so I blame murdoch, but the fact remains the violin is playing, the world is burning, and we are sitting back and watching a genocide on television.
I think the Cost of Living help offered is a joke, a measley £100 from the Household Support Fund, which is basically an electronic card (Pure Energy) topped up with £100 that you pay energy company with.
Energy companies that are putting up standing charges AGAIN, so you'll now pay nearly 400 a year just to have a gas and electric supply before you even use any of the stuff, despite making record profits every month and having none of it taxed.
Hunt says he won’t lie taxes are going up, then on another station, says they’re “reducing” by 0.5%. The increase to our tax burden will be 0.5% less than before, that’s not the same thing!!!! Eg +9.5% might be less than +10% but it still reduces our living standards.
What happened to the £37bn given to Test and Trace? The two Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carriers cost £6bn. The latest American nuclear submarine cost $4.3bn. The Webb telescope cost $10bn.
Anyone who has spent a £million on a memorial to a group of people who are always going to despise the Tories and many of them the country as well, isn't capable of rational thought.
JH was a bank manager before coming a MP, it makes me wonder how many back handers he got when the inflation rate was raised. I've often thought about it ever time the Bank of England was raising the inflation. Yet, the inflation dropped down more or less half this year knowing there is going to be a GE, something doesn't add up.
Kay Burley gave him a free pass, and tried her best to rinse Rachel Reeves for not wanting to abolish NI contributions. Our media is messed up, but this compilation gives me some hope.
Free trade means zero income from import taxes, electric cars means zero fuel duty(until they bring it in,hence smart meters) amd people quitting smoking,or using vapes, means zero cigarette tax. Government isn't getting enough money to offer any serious relief.
If you lose a job in parliament, or resign, that should be it. You should be out for good. This man has been sacked multiple times..Yet he has moved from position to position, none of which he is qualified for.
