You made that CIRCA one much harder than it needed to be. If you get the furthest C first it lines you up to get the rest in a nice order.

You're starting with the wrong C in the Circa challenge! It's just a figure 8, no steering required :)

When you started this THUG run, I couldn't remember a single level other than Russia. Now though I'm starting to wonder if these are actually some of the best levels in the series. Really open and natural almost compared to the earlier games.

1:12:38 I rented this game for a week on PS2, got stuck on the hotel helicopter mctwist gap for the last 3 days, non-stop trying for hours. Even tried ejecting the game with the console still running just so I could keep trying once the game was due back. Couldn't stop thinking about it so finally bought the game about 6 months later. Did the mctwist roof gap in the first 10 minutes. 1:13:09 This was almost exactly my rant, word for word. "Okay, well...whatever. I'm just going to accept that, and I'm not going to learn anything from it because hopefully I do have to use that again." Thank you for capturing the emotion of playing this cursed blessing of a game.

The funny thing is, in the mission where you need to find the bands instruments, the band is called “The Faction” and were a real life band. Steve Caballero himself was their Guitarist.

Make sure you're holding the ollie button while you do the wallplant manual. It makes you move a little faster.

I had a legit spit take during this. When you unexpectedly got to the speaker height I spontaniously shouted "What" right as I was taking a sip of tea.

The emotes are done by double tapping Nollie and pressing one of the face buttons. And to answer the lawnmower question: The blimp, obviously. I don't *like* the lawnmower, I'm just used to the plastic bag on wheels feeling.

I agree with you about Proving/Glitch-Style playing Tony Hawk games. It reminds me of TrickLining in Skate 3 and it looks so unauthentic and not representative to how Skateboarding feels to me when i do it in real life. Just my opinion tho 💯

Yes basically most of your ollies are earlier than they could be. The buttslap takes advantage of the platformer-style grace period you get on jumps. There's a brief window where you can still ollie after you're airborne (providing you haven't already ollied), so you can trigger a flip and still be in that window for an ollie. You can take advantage of this without buttslapping by just doing late ollies throughout the games when you need more height/distance. Have a look at the ollie out of the hubba at 1:13:12 - watch at 1/4 speed and see just how insanely late an ollie can be. Probably a clearer example (but less distance) is at 1:24:52.

I've watched so many of these RR zero stat videos and I have only just figured out that kp2/4/6/8 corresponds to the traditional Playstation controls of X, Square, Circle and Triangle based on the position in the keypad.

So in THUG1 if you do a regular Darkslide, it actually has a very high % to reset your balance meter. Right+Down Triangle Triangle. Just a useless bit of info.

In thug 2 I remember the paulie combo 5,000 points and never understood cause it would be random that I completed it. I think it is a glitched mission, cause I would get big combos.

You failed the manual combo in Moscow because you did a couple of flip tricks, making it not a manual combo
