@@jarichards99utube I did..Very much! I had never seen pictures of them before..let alone a video!! Wonderful!! This, apart from Mack The Knife..was the main song for me from that era! I(and, I loved the Beatles!!) It filters through my mind, at the most strange moments..and I never thought of the obvious!! Thank you so much. finally found out who played on this song. Dennis Coffey , Don Davis-guitars, James Jamerson-double bass, George McGregor-drums Mike Terry-sax. three of these were members of the Funk Brothers motown sound

No wonder it is so good. Thanks for the info. I gotta listen to it again. Got some DeJa'Vu with listening to the great voices to figure out what one word was, that I never could tell back then. I knew the music was great, but can't believe I didn't pick out Jamerson. The stand up bass might not have been quite as loud as the Fender P. We'll see in a minute.
