I had an aqua typewriter as a teenager , my parents got me for Christmas in 1970. . I loved that typerwriter

Adorable card! Great idea with the crumpled up papers. It would also look cute if the crumpled papers were coming out of a small trash can. Love the colors. I got one of those turquoise t;ypewriters for Christmas in the late 60's. It came in a hard case with a handle. I wish I still had it.

I just love this so much Christy! Every detail is great - especially those crumpled up pieces of paper - so so clever! I love the colours you used. too - you are lucky to have a craft room with aqua - that's one of my favourite colours!

I carefully chose that color when we built our house. I tried a few different samples to find the perfect aqua!

I had to go back through my Amazon orders to find it! It’s by American Crafts and it’s double-sided. I love the color but I will say that it seems to stain easily. If that doesn’t bother you, go for it! It’s a great size too!

Are you doing the Valentine cards for the drive this year ?

Unfortunately there will not be a drive this year. Winter, who heads it up, has been diagnosed with cancer herself and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. I haven’t decided if I will do a Valentine Series this year. If I do, it will be a short one.
