If Dorries is such a total embarrassment as an MP, what does it say for the 26,000 plus voters who put her there? We're Doomed!!

The Channel 4 statement is incredible. It’s not just a lack of knowledge for her role, it’s in general. Thick as mince doesn’t cover it.

Thanks for this. I was feeling embarrassed after watching Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene in the twitter hearings and while Nadine is thankfully quieter, it’s kinda nice to know we’re not alone in the States as far as having full blown lunatics in government.

You can laugh...she's my local MP!. Not that you'd notice her actually in the Commons since she resigned as Culture Secretary. But today she has taken the principled stand of leaving us unrepresented by immediately stepping down in spite because her peerage was denied. She's the gift that keeps on taking

Her and Jacob endorsed Liz Truss not out of confidence in her ability to be Prime Minister, but out of spite towards the wing of the party that caused the downfall of her dear Boris. She’s helped to create the current chaos and toxicity in British politics since the EU referendum, and now is just one of many others who have jumped from the sinking ship. It’s everyone else’s fault as usual, according to her.
