I love to see the FCC up the legal wattage on AM to 20-25 watts, and 50 on SSB. I run barefoot, and have made a few long distance contacts when the conditions are right.
@@hatchetjackphillips unfortunately they never will. Yes conditions is the key. Most folks don’t learn about that. They just think more power will do the job. Or you can get your ham ticket and legally run up to 1500 watts. So if you actually want to have a civil conversation with the world I suggest getting your ticket.
ive got 500 wiskeys of boost! but i can do very well baregoot on the 7100and the 7300! my first 10 meter long distant contact was in Paraguay South America 100 watts!
