@@Definitely_Melnyx Nah in my experience their products are much more durable. Had my Roccar Kone XTD for Over 6 years and it went through some abuse but never even had any problems.
I just wanna say that Roccat is an awesome company when it comes to customer service, although they do lack in their software department. They would rather ship you brand new hardware than to fix their software program that bricked your device.
1:44 that is so relatable. I’ve been typing “i am awesome” as a keyboard exercise since i first got typing lessons back in school in like 2014. Times were so different back then lol..
Always nice to see another numpad loyalist! Really would love to see more lefty or detachable numpad keyboards though. IMO lefty keyboards are actually better if you use mouse on the right, and vice versa.
I remember when every kid in Germany wanted to have their products because some of the biggest gaming channels here where sponsored by them. The hype was definitely real but then they slowly disappeared somehow. (of course they still released new products but their RU-vid exposure and therefore popularity was nothing compared to back in the day)
I've been rocking roccat gear for like 10 years lol. the easy shift shit is the coolest thing ever to me. that bein said, i havent heard much about their stuff since the ryos mk fx came out and i called it when i said a per key rgb mechanic version would come out despite those keys not really existing yet lol
I wish they took their kain mouse and added those finger tip buttons like on the sides of the leadr. That would be a perfect mouse, and maybe lighten it up a bit but add some weight options.
An RGB keyboard review where the RGB capabilities (animations, breathing, solid colours, off, brightness levels etc.) weren't even mentioned let alone shown. A pretty important omission considering the thinner keycaps/brighter RGB than normal.
This is a great looking keyboard. It still suffers from one of the biggest flaws of practically every keyboard on the market though (which don't have replaceble keycaps). Why are companies still putting web browser (especially the ancient IE logo), calculator, notepad, etc legends on keys? Media keys make sense. Everything else seems like a relic from long ago.
i have a vulcan 120 aimo and its one of the best purchases i have ever made, its lasted me years, looks and feels great. definitely my favorite keyboard for the time being. I'm using it to type this comment right now!
LOL, I just bought this in November when I built my PC! I've never seen this channel review something I actually own, at least that is, after I buy the item. I've bought stuff because of their reviews, but I've never beaten them to the punch! Anyway, it's an awesome keyboard. My first mechanical ever. Highly recommend it! There is a grey and white one, too, but the black is just... *YES.*
Been swearing by Roccat products for years. Even use them at work. I havent had any other peripherals last as long as Roccats. Cool to see they are getting more reconition these days.
Ive owned Roccat mice for 7 years now.. Last mouse never died and got bored of it eventually.. German engineering and really quality stuff. Going to order the TKL(pro) next week. Really liking the brand.
I didn't expect to be interested in the keyboard from the thumbnail, I'm not huge on rainbow RGB, but it actually looks like a keyboard I would really like from a design standpoint if nothing else!
I'Ve been a fan of roccat for a very long time, and loved all their products (I play overwatch on a high Open Divison level). They've always given me exactly what I wanted and I can say (after multiple accidental spills) their keyboards are very liquid resistant. I'm very happy to see them on short circuit ^^ Also: The non-pro cable is also braided.
I was in my local boutique computer shop the other day, and they had these Roccat Vulcan's and my god the linear feel of those switches..I definately feel finger fatigue on my old Ducky but this thing feels sooooo nice.
@@blackbird1665 Really? Never heard anyone mix that up (I'm German too) ... okay, maybe children or people that never had English in school - because of phonetic similarity ... but otherwise? Also ... it actually doesn't even sound like the German "schmal" ... just adding the postalveolar fricative doesn't change the vowel quality.
I love this channel, it's the ultimate evolution of the original LTT unboxing content. Perfect balance of premeditated vs off-the-cuff, with all the production value that we've come to expect from LMG. Great work as always.
I feel the same way, but Linus mentioned on WAN show that they really have no other choice. Including extra characters hurts SEO and the video doesn't perform as well. I might be wrong, but they might add the product name in the title later, after the initial release of the video.
Would have loved getting the biggest one together with a nice big waterbottle. Shipping to Switzerland would have been a problem though but with many items it's at least worth it. Hope they'll get back in stock as they look awesome.
From a 49 yr old gamer, - adapt, adopt, and or learn ergonomic mice an keyboards early as possible. Time flies by, and soon input devices cause so much pain after just a bit of gaming.
Best thing is that the RGB auto dims when you don't press any keys for a while; you don't get the distracting lights when watching a video yet as soon as you press any key, you get full brightness and 69% more FPS.* *(82.74% of 9 women surveyed agree).
I love Roccat products. I've got 2 Roccat Vulcan 100 Aimo keyboards, 2 Roccat Khan Aimo headsets in white, 1 Roccat Kone Aimo mouse and 1 Roccat Kain 100 mouse. If they made bigger desk mats I'd have some of those too LUL
its so nice to see something from roccat :D I have the non pro version for 3 month now and its great. :D its by ease the best keyboard that I've ever had. And btw. the cable is braided at the non pro version to
I have the TKL version of that same keyboard. Very loud clicks if you bottom out your keystrokes like I do, even though they're linear. And yes, the actuation is instant. As a CS player, that took some getting used to with CS's counter strafing mechanic. It's much different than coming from MX brown and Romer G switches! But it's very good looking, easy to keep clean (especially since the TKL has a detachable type-C connection), and just an overall nice keyboard to have. Their software is not terrible either. Not as polished as something like Logitech's, but great none the less
Stop while you can. I tried to keep up with new tech from cpu's to simple tools. Technology with so much competition worldwide that its leading us to a human COLLAPSE of SNAFU!
Finally, a tech youtuber that says that they prefer a numpad. I swear everybody on youtube this year has been saying that they prefer tenkeyless keyboards and I think none of these folks work a spreadsheet heavy job to recommend that
Every roccat product is a masterpiece of german engineering, for their mice they only use high quality omron switches for EVERY button, yes even the DPI buttons, while most other companies use cheap ones for that and the mousewheel buttons. My razer mouse broke shortly after warranty because of this.
