Greatly appreciate the “You Matter” segment at the end… the cruel and callous legislation that is sweeping the country and the discussions surrounding it are appalling and would’ve been unimaginable 6 years ago- the number of people who need to be reminded they are valid and matter has grown exponentially in that time, grateful to Amber for using her platform to set a much needed example! 😊💕

the part that irritates me though is after many years past the very same people that was giving us attitude will flip and try to claim the credit pretending that they were part of the reason why she was successful..kinda like how so many conservatives quote MLK Jr making it sound like they agree with him when it's exactly the opposite.

Thank you so much for sharing your brilliance, beauty and bowties with us. Thank you for teaching me more about this country's history than I learned in the entirety of my years in public school. Thank you for making me feel seen, like I matter and that you actually care. Thank you for adding a spoonful of sugar to the essential medicine you provide. I really appreciate that medicine. Thanks for making that sugar, laughter. Which is also medicine. You are like a balm for the soul and I hope that like Seth, you read RU-vid comments because I want you to know that waiting for your next episode has literally kept me alive and given me a silver lining to a dark cloud, a small patch of blue in a stormy sky, a ray of sunshine in a rainstorm and a fantastic person all around. You are doing such important work. I hope you know how appreciated it is. I also hope you will take some more time to center Disability related issues in your show. They are heavily related to Anti-Blackness and they impact each and everyone of us. It's the last group so vulnerable to such bigotry thats really still ignored in mainstream society and is socially acceptable for the most part. Disabled folx (prepandemic) made up 20% of the population. I expect covid to double that. Which would mean nearly half the population suffers from a disabling condition. That's a huge deal and we gotta pay attention to this before it gets worse than it already is.
