At least Batman does legitimately have a charity foundation. There's a comic where the way he beats a bunch of gangsters is by putting on an advertisement video regarding one of the Bruce Foundations Adult Education programs, with guaranteed employment, and included full health coverage and insurance

that cause a lot of those characters started out as people who just happen to fight crime. The shadow and so on but cause they had to explain where all the tech came from they made them all millionaire. Yeah its weird that all those trust fund baby went on to fight crime. I mean...Supes whinging is funny but the fact of the matter is so much canon they do other stuff with their money to help the common person. Ignoring the fact a lot of "Wall Street bros" and "trust fund babies" often canonically use their wealth to help folks in other ways, they invest their money in tech and gadgets to bring down criminals. Not to mention virtually every crook they fight isn't some poor fella trying to steal to feed his family. No, they are often hardened criminals working for a bigger psychopath who either has dangerous super powers, dangerous weapons or tech, or a mass network of resources, etc.

The in-universe explanation for that is, everyone is super-corrupt. I mean, even in real life, most major charities are scams, especially the Susan B Komen Foundation. And I think Batman does at least _attempt_ to help people using his money; it just doesn't go so well.

This was a very important episode, because it showed Superman that even though Batman's kind of obnoxious, and they spend most of their time arguing, they have over time become best friends, and it took replacing him with a similar guy for Superman to realize that.

Before anybody asks you this question, here's a simple but effective way to describe Catman: Imagine if Batman and Kraven the Hunter from Marvel (yes, I know Catman predates Kraven, that's not the point) became one person. He does have angst, but that's not because he's avenging his parents. His dad was an abusive alcoholic and a wealthy big game hunter who "accidently" killed Catman's mom. Side note, his only power is that he literally has nine lives. Only reason he has them is because he stole his cape from a death cult and it gives him powers.

If you’re a crime stopping super hero who regularly works with police,why the hell would you make your secret identity a detective? I get that you get access to the information you would otherwise not have but,aside from the villains,the police are your main point of contact and communication as a hero. They are the one group who you don’t want to regularly hear your normal voice or see you normally. Furthermore,would they not notice how he’s never around whenever Catman appears? “Oh,I want to call our expert detective. He’s not here? DAMN IT! Oh,hey Catman”

@@llSuperSnivyll I mean, the guy went from being one of Batman's most pitiful joke villains (and also reimagined as a gag hero in Fairly Oddparents) into becoming one of Batman's more "serious" arches who can almost fight Batman to a stand-still in CQC (and beat Bronze Tiger to a draw), an expert tracker who can almost empathize with nearly every animal he meets, have a petty rivalry/friendship with Deadshot (I know Deadshot's kind of a dick, but the respect he has for Catman is astonishing considering how much he likes to "shoot people in the back" in literally every sense of the term), and he's dated both huntress and Cheshire (him and Cheshire have a kid by the way). TL;DR: He's literally a costumed "non-powered" Batman villain. I'd be more surprised if he *didn't* have any plot armor to speak of.

Yeah Catman is a pure DC original character The one in Fairly Oddparents is meant to be a reference to the 1960s Batman which is why they had Adam West voice him,but it seems they inspired their outfit from DC’s Catman

The DC Catman was a super-villain who turned into an anti-hero, joining a team of super villains turned mercenaries work called The Secret Six. While I like the Cat Man Pilot, it’s more of a parody of old comics and cartoons while the DC character is significantly different.
