Justice League Unlimited 2x13 Reaction (Epilogue) 

This episode is a favorite. Batman Beyond suddenly stopped one day. This gave the series a bittersweet yet heartwarming epilogue.

Honestly, this is one of the greatest Batman moments in my opinion. Everyone else looked at the ace, and immediately concluded that she was a monster that had to be killed, but Batman recognize that she was just a kid who was suffering and just needed a friend to talk with. Batman, for all of his grim persona, is really quite the compassionate guy.

I like how the royal flush gang member who was representative of the JACK of cards was a SAMURAI. A nice little reference to another TV show.

This was originally going to be the series finale and the end of the DCAU in general. Bringing everything full circle, ending the same way Batman: TAS began with police spotting a bat-like figure in the night sky. Fans do regard this as the true ending to Bruce Wayne's journey.

The assassin sent by Waller is Andrea Beaumont/The Phantasm, the title character of the film Batman Mask of the Phantasm (the greatest Batman film of all time) and the first love of Batman's life. You may recognize my profile picture.

Since Terry is an adult he can see the type of BS that’s being fed to him by Bruce,Terry does have a point of Dick,Tim,Selina and Barbra leaving him and Bruce keeps acting surprised like it’s the first time someone in his life is leaving him.Glad we got to see Warhawk again (John and Shayera’s kid) liked the guy in the JLU S1 finale in the time travel episode with chronos in an alternate timeline within the Batman beyond universe.This was an amazing episode for Batman Beyond fans,really shows Terrys rage since most of the time he jokes around

This episodes ending goes hard because the way Terry flew by the ship is how BTAS really started with its first episode.

Classic episode. Batman adding to his legend

This is a very continuity heavy episode with characters and references all the way from Batman the Animated Series, Mask of the Phantasm and Batman Beyond. I don't think that you can watch this episode at any time like you said because Amanda Waller wasn't introduced in the DCAU until season 2 of Justice League Unlimited.

The very ending of this episode is a recreation of the very first scene from the first episode of the DCAU from Batman the Animated Series titled On Leather Wings. In the opening of that episode Man-Bat flies throught the air at night in Gotham and a police officer (voiced by Kevin Conroy) on a blimp says "Did you see that?". In the ending of this episode Batman flies past a sky patrol, as a cop also voiced by Kevin Conroy swears he saw something and again says "Did you see that?".

The black and white scenes are all in Terry's head. He's imagining how the conversations will go down before he's even found out the truth from Waller. As far as how this connects with Beyond, this is just an epilogue for the show. The creators didn't know they weren't getting another season so they felt disappointed with the final episode of the series. They learnt that lesson so they wrote season finale of Justice League in way that they would happy with if the show didn't get renewed. This episode was to go back to wrap up Batman Beyond and Amanda Waller's arc.

What I think is really funny is that you find out that Matt McGinnis, Terry's brother is also Bruce Wayne "clone/kid". I don't think Warren McGinnis had a single child that was actually his.

The DC Animated Universe. It started with Batman, and ended with Batman.

I know nothing about Batman Beyond, so this was interesting and a bit random😂. But I know Bruce so that's something💪😤, and we got to see a side of him most don't. Tragic what happened to Ace though, she was only a villain because people used her, so she deserves herI flowers💐. And Amanda, what's in that tea that makes you live longer👀

I love this version of Batman ❤️‍🔥 he is so badass but so kind are understanding when he needs to be

you GOTTA watch batman beyond sometime after this. Series was a classic and should've gotten another season for sure

For those who ask: The black and white scenes are not the past. These are what Terry imagines he would do, if Waller confirms, that he is Bruce's son. I think one of the creators stated it.

I have mixed feelings about this because I just don’t like it because I don’t think Bruce’s parents would want to have grandchildren out of wedlock because of that would ruin their image especially if it was back in the earlier seasons and this is one of the reasons why I don’t like Damien Wayne because of this, so I said back in Once and Future thing episode when Green Lantern found out about Warhawk being his son and I said what if Helena Wayne was in Batman Beyond and she is Bruce’s only child that the public is aware of. And I guess this is why don’t want to get vaccinated because we might have been manipulated by government agents as are Terry’s parents are.

Must need to watch batman mask of the phantasm, batman beyond to understand the phantasm and the who justice league beyond were fighting one of them was parasite from superman show and the return of the joker movie

With this to end the second season of JLU, but...when you think about it, this feels like the way future of the entire DC Animated Universe and Batman Beyond last episode to end the whole thing. Future Batman, Amanda Walker, Bruce Wayne, what happened in the past, other heroes, villains, Ace...Very sad one...And for Terry and Dina's love for each other. Yeah, loved this.

All those black and white scenes weren't real. They were scenarios in Terry's imagination, actions he would take if Bruce was responsible for altering his DNA.

Batman has always wanted to save everyone. To the point where he seems crazy, like letting the Joker live instead of killing him

@FatherJohn originally Batman beyond was going to be renewed after justice league Unlimited but the studio thought that it was to late to go back to Batman beyond senes it was canceled a couple years ago to make justice league. They basically made a promise to bring it back but they thought that the audience wouldn't remember the show and wouldn't care much about it. But the studio still wanted to make a superhero show featuring young superheroes to relate to the younger audience which is where the show teen titans came in to basically not only replace justice league Unlimited but to also take the place of Batman beyond. So in a way the show teen titans is kinda responsible for both shows ending 😅 Also the Batman beyond movie return of the joker along with this episode were basically made to give the fans of Batman beyond some closure on the series ending.

At 10:20 I can tell you have never watched Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. You should, man. It's the best Batman movie ever made. Live action or animated.

It’s funny sooo many people hated this episode & some still do but I love it. It ties up the whole Batman story for Bruce’s character and the legacy of Batman after Justice league. & if you didn’t know the black and white scenes weren’t Flashbacks they were just what Terry was thinking he should have done the whole time Amanda Waller is telling him this info
