Justice League Unlimited 3x5 Reaction (Flash and Substance) 

This is one of the most famous and heartwarming episodes in the entire DCAU and demonstrate why Wally West is such and incredible character. If people still have doubts that Wally is the heart of the Justice League after watching this episode I honestly would be left speechless.

The Trickster was voiced by Mark Hamill who also voiced Joker in the DCAU. Mark Hamill voicing the Trickster is a reference to him also playing the character to the 90's Flash TV series with John Wesley Shipp as the Flash.

Linda Park, the reporter in this episode who had a major crush on Wally is actually Wally's wife in the comics. It was really cool seeing Linda Park make her appearance. Their relationship has evolved so much and is in such a great place right now in the comics. They just welcomed their third child as well.

Wally is so wholesome and beloved, even some of his enemies love him. Such a great episode.

2:27 I like how Wally mentioned that he called would be there. It’s a nice subtle reference to Barry Allen, even if he’s probably not The Flash in this universe.

5:55 the fact is that mark Hamill is voice of the trickster, after he did 1990 and 2014 flash 📺 series.

2:37 The Flash sees the Justice League as family. Batman understands the feeling of wanting a family. He also understands what it's like to not have the people he WANT to at his award ceremony. Flash wants him, and he's not dead in an alleyway. Goes a lot further than you'd think.

This show really solidifies it. Wally West is the best Flash. The only reason Geoff Johns decided to bring back Barry was because he wanted to bring back the characters he grew up reading the repercussions it would have on the existing DC universse. I love what he did with Hal Jordan but with Barry it seemed kind of unnecessary and you don't want to know how much Wally has suffered since then. Luckily now Wally is The Flash again (as he should be) and his comics are amazing.

Flash low key one of the best DC heroes, Jay, Wally, and Barry.

In case you didn't know, Linda is actually Wally's wife in the comics. They even have 3 kids together.

Well I wish they could have brought in the flash villains as I said before Hunter Zolomon,Golden Glider,Turtleman, Thinker, Dr Alchemy etc

Wally West is the most respected superhero, that even his villains respect him. They fight him fair by not taking hostages and intentionally minimize collateral damage, only focusing their attacks specifically on The Flash. In the comics when Wally Died, all of his rogues got together in solidarity to not commit any crimes for three days do honor him.

In the comics wally is actually a mechanic for the police not a scientist. That guy he talks to in the lab looks like classic Barry Allen

This episode was actually written to be the s2 premiere of the 90s flash show before it was canceled. I'd rather live in Central city than any other city in dc the criminals are just normal guys trying to get money unlike how wild gotham is.

I remember this episode was when I really started to like orion, he’s kinda an ass that just doesn’t understand mortals which is fascinating. Plus Ron pearlmen is always a treat.

I guess it goes to show for the scientist, funny guy, but a serious superhero with fast speed Wally West aka The Flash has what it takes to be loved by all and can take on job very seriously. With Mark Hamill voicing The Trickster villain, priceless. As Flash stops Captain Boomerang, Mirror Master, and Captain Cold of the other 3 big villains.

7:20-7:32 The Trickster is always the Trickster. Whether or not he's taking his meds. But if he doesn't take his meds it messes with his head. Without his meds he wasn't even aware that he was wearing his costume.

Crazy how all the villains in Star City go to the same bar😂, like imagine coming across this place and Reverse Flash is playing pool with Killer Frost💀. Surprised the cops haven't raided the place, but at least the villains were trying to run the fair one in the beginning 💪😤. Then they took your advice to jump that man👀, and I thought you were on our side🤣. Didn't go well for them since Batman showed up, and I guess Orion even though he was getting played🤡. A real life Flash museum would be a great idea: selling Flash merchandise, a theatre playing his movies and shows, a whole bunch of food because of his fast metabolism, and games to test your speed🥳. I need to get a team together for that one 🤩.
