Justice Sector Measurement Talks Session I: Tools for Measuring Success in Judicial Reform Programs
ABA ROLI's Justice Sector Measurement Talks engaged technical experts and justice sector practitioners - program designers, implementers, monitoring, evaluation, and learning specialists and donors - who design, implement, or conduct related monitoring and evaluation of international development programs in discussions on targeted aspects of measurement in justice sector reform programs. Measuring results and assessing success in judicial reform programs responds to the question, “to what extent is a program achieving judicial reform goals?” Inclusion of results measurement in judicial reform initiatives is essential to the development of effective programming. Results measurement also helps to align programs with country development priorities and promotes accountability and learning.
Session one on September 15th focused on Tools for Measuring Success in Judicial Reform Programs. This session highlighted tools and methods for measuring judicial reform and examined how practitioners use them through comparative case studies.
