Bears fan here, was a huge fan of the job you did for us in relief in 2018. We had a damn good team that year. And I love me a Justin Fields supporter. He’s our future. Build around him.
@antoinemallett1948 I'll apologize to him if that's what he meant to do. However, I took it as him meaning that Field's performance didn't mean anything because Chase did good against the Lions as well. There was no disrespect towards Chase, but he was a career backup.
@@amoose8414 I believe he was trying to give a compliment. I always liked Chase. The old saying goes, those who can't do teach. I do love his breakdowns
For the play at 17:00, when I was watching that play in the stadium with the benefit of being able to see the whole field, you saw both CK and DM were open, so we were all screaming to throw. Now that I hear you explaining the fact that it was a fake to the right to come back to the left, I understand that he didn't have the time to get set. It pays to hear from an expert.
Many fans won’t see this break down, they’ll only hear what their favorite couch coach with a RU-vid and a Best Buy mic says about it. A lot of fans will completely disregard what this veteran qb is saying just because it doesn’t fit their narrative that he doesn’t see the field lol. I respect you for saying that bruh
one thing I love about your breakdowns is that you know how the pocket "feels" you know that a QB cant see everything over and around the players. Others always point out open receivers that you can really only see on tape
Wow, I never knew Chase had a channel until I saw it pop up in my recommended. I absolutely loved him as a qb. He not only carried his weight when put in as a sub. But he's a fantastic analyst and very playbook smart. It was a real treat seeing him play for Chicago. And I loved how every game and every snap he was always focused in on how to better his team and his qb when on the sideline. If Fields had the same level of football IQ as Chase we would have one hell of a player. But I'm glad to see Fields has been progressing a lot this year especially with all the hate and downfall he's received in the beginning of the season.
@@Isaacsbasedyou must not watch very much. He loves a number of quarterbacks, dislikes a number, and is meh about the rest. What he does do, is focus on how much the scheme and pass pro affects the play.
Fields played very well and it's crazy that in the first game against these baby lions that Hutchinson was the guy that made the big play with the strip sack and now he's the guy that made the big mistake and jumped off sides lol that's the craziness of sports.
@Unapologetictruthtalk I never said it was my guy. Just that it's ironic Hutchinson made a big play in the first game, then the big mistake in the second one.
I honestly don't and can't understand why so many people hate JF1 so much. The potential that he has is at a level only 2-3 other QBs have as a duel threat. He improves every game he plays and you can always find something that he did better than the last time, so why are people such in a rush to move away from him??
Thanks for the breakdown Chase!! Appreciate your deep dive of the position and what’s going on… you made it easy for us to follow along… appreciate that
He's coming along. The Kmet play is so damn beautiful, and when's the last time we've been on the winning end of a free play TD, very fun to watch. I think he'll take another step in anticipation, but he is an unbelievable thrower of the ball, let's get a real offensive guru in here.
Thanks chase, watch that DJ more touchdown run on the fake reverse skin please - people are mentioning the great block that Roschon Johnson put on Aidan Hutchinson that really sprang DJ... there's an angle out there that shows our rookie running back absolutely put a clinic on a pro bowl caliber Edge rusher!
My favorite throw was that Mooney outside catch and throw. What amazing ball speed and being able to catch that. I wanted to get a close up on that play, another great Fields breakdown
We finally let a guy develop just a little bit. I hate people now a days. It’s a “what can you do for me right now “generation. I also understand Nfl primes aren’t long either though. He still super young though . They drafted defense last year . Now go get him some help on offense next year, even though you guys could still make a run this year. Overall as a football fan I’m happy we are seeing a new generation of QBs.
luv, luv, luv your breakdowns! Helps me a lot in gaining greater understanding of the game! I'd like to hear your views on Flus, and Getsy! How about the learning curve for coaches as well as players? Will they pan out, and become GOOD coaches, or is a move necessary?
Third time this season I noticed Kmet breaking off a route Fields attempted or clearly wanted to throw anticipatory. Don't mind JF1 "holding the ball too long" as long as it prevents interceptions & keeps plays alive.
@@Lovey_18 Amen, but important to remember that he's not the only NFL QB to have gaffes when he does. p.s. A JF1 gaffe always precedes a big makeup play - if time remains on the clock. Tell me I'm lying.
@@santaclause3487 exactly what Stephen said. There have never really been calls on hits to fields when he slides. Multiple times helmet to helmet hits on him and yet, still no calls.
I noticed they jamming up the receiver's so he can hold the ball longer the refs not going to call shit they like it's the bears I'm lying I'm dying 💯💯💯💯💯💯🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 just watch
in 3 years Fields is 3-3 vs the Lions (so he doesn't own the Lions), 1-3 vs the Vikings, and 0-5 vs the Packers. I know it's not all his fault but seriously he has seriously major growing up to do if he wants to continue playing in the NFL
18:36 Fields throws this before DJ even cuts to the outside. Fantastic anticipatory throw and exactly what people have been asking to see. Little high but nobody's perfect.
Although Chase is clearly a JF1 fan, I really like the breakdowns. He brings a different perspective to what JT O’Sullivan brings. For example, that throw where Mooney is open out wide and Justin hits the check down to #18, JTO basically say you’ve gotta hit that throw but when Chase breaks it down he takes you through what Justin’s seeing and what he’s thinking and why he didn’t hit that throw.
@@joshhughart289 Cutler had an elite arm. Elite arms and elite legs/talent doesn't win championships. In this game, Fields threw for 57% and not even 230 yards and only one single TD. That is not good enough, and never will be.
@@thegrandpencil4374he had 1 rushing and 1 passing and accounted for 290 yards total offense, you haters are hilarious lmfao whether he passes or runs for a chunk of yards/td’s it all adds up the same, learn ball you’re embarrassing your self 😂
I’m confused about finally seeing him run? I’ve thought he’s ran a bit much. I’d hate to see him hurt again. l wish they’d use kmet more. That dude is an absolute stud. And Moore my gosh that dudes got skills.
I’ve been saying for a minute now to not give up on Justin Fields especially for a Caleb Williams who probably isn’t going to be what people expect him to be
Chase should give us his inside thought on who we draft. Personally, I think it would be dumb not to take MHJR at #1. But, I'd like to hear chases thoughts on the matter.
What's your thoughts on his throwing mechanics? I'm a Buckeye/Bears Fan, so clearly I want Fields to be successful. But it just seems the throw is so drawn out. Wish we could see that become more compact in the off-season.
Will someone please remind Kmet that he's a B I G offensive weapon. He can gain extra yardage by simply running over the Defensive Player. I think he deliberately runs out of bounds after every catch.
This game i was so pissed at myself, i took Détroit on the spread and on this day they couldnt handle justin and the bears. Screwd my 8 team parlay bears played good team ball down the streach of 2023.
Fields has had some drastic improvement from the beginning of the year. If those first 4 games + injury weren't dragging his stats down he'd be having a hell of a season
Gosh ive always held a grudge since you beat my Lions on Thanksgiving 2018. But you know what? Youre alright man!! We were of course not great. In all seriousness, all my best. Great breakdowns/content. Ill be watching.
Those superpowers couldn’t produce more than 3 points yesterday (not counting the drive that started 1st and goal at the 1). Some superpower those are.
Haven't watched yet, but it's too fuckin bad Fields has literally 0 anticipation in any way ever at all. It's why he's destined to be a career backup despite having more potential than almost any other quarterback to come into the league in the past decade.
This is more of showing everything we already know about Fields: in isolation, regardless of o-line play or defenses. So what if he's capable of running when plays break down? Other, better QBs are still capable of _passing_ when that happens. If you're gonna blame anyone other than Fields for those things That's My Point!! We _already know that_ Fields can do everything you're presenting here as new. The Bears didn't win because of anything He Did. The differences were other players, coaching & play-calling. None of that is presented here.
I don’t kno why the media is in such a rush for the bears to ship this guy out and select caleb. It doesn’t make sense. Caleb is not an upgrade over fields
Bc then they’ll have something extra to talk about.. what does fields do with his next team.. how the bears failed another promising qb prospect.. how Chicago is the place where qbs go to die.. blah blah blah. All they care about are their storylines and ways to get clicks
That’s twice now we see a miscommunication with kmet not being where Justin thought he be . Don’t fool your qb. How are you supposed to throw with all this anticipation if rules aren’t being followed and players aren’t going where they need to be?
Idk how he doesn’t even look at Mooney on the first play? He’s wide open. Just throw the ball man. That’s the biggest issue I have with Justin is that he either isn’t seeing the whole field or gets stuck on on a read n once it fails he bails. I mean Mooney is wiiiiideeee open. Just let the ball go man
As a Sports Psychology coach I really love the ability that Justin Fields has being able to stay calm(it allows him to make decisions faster), but I almost feel as if Justin is so calm when it is time to decide he doesnt have the proper energy to press the go button. A lot of sports need a trigger or go button sort of speak. Is this what Justin lacks sometimes?
That isnt a bad thought but I think that this is the first season weve seen this version of Justin, I think that go button would come with time. I just dont know if he'll be in Chicago to grow into that player.
@@calm1047 Hey man not everyone is perfect, in fact nobody is. I am just trying to help Fields take that next step in his development. I honestly think he can process the field, he just has a hard time pulling the trigger.
