He's as friendly and engaging in person as on camera, a regular dude. The down side is that when he starts yelling encouragement during a wod, it's difficult to not full send and wreck yourself. "Well, if HE thinks I can go faster or hit this lift, I better give it everything." 😂

Even with surgery the key is nutrition. Surgery is a kick start to something that still has to be a lifelong commitment. My issue with the surgery is that there are so many risks. There’s no risk involved in just eating right and being more active. I think it’s a good aid, but the lifestyle change is still necessary.

If you think mat’s chill I’m curious to hear which male champs your referring to? I’ve met most of them and for the most part all pretty chill except for Jason but not douchey. There’s only 6 (not including Justin) Holmberg does have a weird Jesus freak vibe, Fitzgerald is quite cerebral so perhaps your perceiving that so assuming your referring to Rich? as miko is the man!
