HOW THE FUCK DID I NOT KNOW THIS EXISTED?!!!? I LOVE HOW JUSTIN MOORE PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE GREATEST ROCK BAND! ALSO WHEN VINCE WAS UP ON STAGE SINGING & NIKKI,TOMMY,& MICK WERE JUST LIKE NODDING IN APPROVAL!!! LONG LIVE THE CRÜE!!!
Back in the 80,s I was in the military and stationed in BFE and only came home once in 3 years....used to hear this song all the time at the enlisted club as people rotated back to the states......then it was MY TURN!!!!! so to all of you that have served, been far away from home.....THANKS!!!!!!!!
All honor to their name. Legends. The soundtrack of a generation. But this is a great tribute. Didn’t overdo it. Didn’t try to upstage it. Just ripped it. Respect.
Timothy Leighton I respect your perspective but motley wouldn’t be the same without all 4. Look how successful they were with corabi. It wasn’t until Vince came back where fans were happy. I’ll agree to disagree. We can all say we love the CRUE 🤘
@@jonathonhinkle89 I think that was more or less for his charisma and stage presence than his voice though because if you look back at his old concerts his voice was not good by any stretch of the imagination but the dude knew how to win the crowd
I can't express enough how much I love this song. This was the last song my father sang to me before he died. I have the whole song tattooed on my back. ❤
Normally when classic songs get covered it's pretty bad. But this is fucking amazing! All love to Justin for this awesome cover, and for the homage bein' paid to the Crüe!!👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Vince is always Vince. Heis the most recognizable voice in Metal Rock. When I first saw this I did an immediate head snap because I was doing something in the kitchen. I thought Vince? He made the song once again.
This may be the best type of cover. Not necessarily the best cover, but it embodies what a good cover is by definition. It honors the original and still gives it an update without losing the vibe of the OG.
9 years this has been out and I’ve never heard it! I’m a Mötley Crue fan and a Justin Moore fan. This is SUPREME! Justin did a BEAUTIFUL job on this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Soooo happy to see MC on the stage!
Favroite part: when Tommy, Nikki, Mick, Vince and Justin walk away together and when Nikki and Tommy were like "fuck yeah dude." Love the orginal better though. Old school Crüe fan much hahaha
Yes he is, I’m from Arkansas about an hour from where he lives. So down to earth in person. My granddaughter’s softball team played his daughter’s team in a tournament. He was so kind and let them get a pic of them with him.
I personally don't like country, but man, wow, this ones really great. I love the way they organize their voices. Vince is one of the greats in music history. Glad he was open on this.
I'm a 80 kid! I was raised up with the big hair bands and country. I can say Justin does a hell of a job!!! He can sing..country music rocks! And it's southern country rock now!
As a Motley fan for more years than I care to remember I think it's great to hear someone else's rendition of it and I think Justin does a great job, puts a country taste to it and it's good. It's given me a new appreciation of country music, something I don't get to listen to much here in NZ. Good job!!
Wow, this is the song my soldier sends me when he is coming home from a mission. They are not aloud to let us know the details but he sends me this song when he gets on the plane. God bless the US ARMY AND THE AIR BORNE RANGERS
I have said since the 80's this is to be played at the celebration of my life....now I want this version and that's cool because Vince is in this version. I've always loved this song and Justin did an awesome job covering it.
I agree, he did a great job on this one. I heard Carrie Underwood's version of it and it was horrible, I was so upset when I heard it because it just was not the same at all.
Heard this on the radio and thought "oh god... Don't destroy it Justin Moore." But was surprised when it was actually a good cover. Also made me extremely happy seeing Crüe in the video! Now, for all the 12 year old Justin Moore fans to ask "Who is Vince Neil?!"
ROFL..your tellin me.. lol.. grew up on Motley Crue.. This is one of the BEST..hands down remakes/tributes .. I have ever heard.. With just the right amount of Twang.. to not destroy the original..
Scott David no please don’t ever say that! I love Motley Crue but there music should never come out of a country artist ever! This made my ears bleed 🩸
This was the highlight of Nashville Outlaws being a metalhead who likes country music. Nothing's ever going to ever come close to this for a genre crossover.
Great song.... Brings tears to my eyes making me think about my lost family members. They played this at a funeral of my family members and when I here it now my family members come to my mind and I tear up and cry. Such a great song though it means a lot to me!!
The ending when they show Tommy and Nikki at bar looking up on stage 03:26 nodding heads is kinda symbolic to them realizing the Crue ride is coming to an end and what a F in ride it was. At least that scene hit me like that, that is.
LOVE IT! Justin can mix with it all - Rock - Pop - etc!! He is one of favs when it comes Country Artist - HE's just too dang AWESOME!!!! This song with Vince Neil hits it out of the park!
To say this song has a tinge or touch of sadness IS an understatement...A feeling to which we Russians easily relate...One of the reasons I so love this song, particularly this cover version by Mr. MOORE...
Lisa Baby, I know that your house has truly become a home, and all will be well from now on. I am so lucky to be a part of the new beginning in your life & I can't wait to share all the great times that are yet to come!! I LOVE YOU!!!!
It's hard to take a song that was sung by another great band and do the song justice, but Justin did a fabulous job on this song and the fact that Motley Crue was in the video shows they approved. Love this song by Justin and Motley Crue.
This reminded me of the 90s when a select few country artists paid tribute to the Eagles and made an album of some of their greatest hits. A few of my favorites were Travis Tritt "Take it easy", Clint Black "Desperado" and Vince Gill "I can't tell you why". I think it would be kinda cool if some of today's country artists were to do an 80s rock tribute album.
I'm so happy he didn't ruin the song they picked an amazing artist to re-create one of the Crües best and most successful songs. I am literally crying watching this video because I'm so happy that they didn't ruin it and they incorporated the original video and the video from 1991 while also having Nikki Tommy Mick and Vince all there thank you for not ruining this song and I support it.
From a 50 year old die hard crue fan, not to bad justin, you did the song justice, Vince backed it up so we will to. when I seen a country guy was doing this I thought omg but again not to bad, it's never easy to remake a song, especially a song like the greatest rock Ballard in history by a country singer
Amazing!!!! They couldn't have picked a better country artist to cover this song. Justin is one of the very few country artist left that is truly country. That being said no one will ever sing this song as good as Vince Neil but Justin did one hell of a job. He has such a smooth tone and hits those higher noted with ease. I would love to see him cover more 80s big hair band songs just to bring them back to life. Well done Justin Well done.
Andrea Cline he's not even CLOSE to being one of the FEW that is still.truly country. Check out literally ANYTHING from ANYBODY on literally any fm country station on the planet. Those people and ALL their stuff on the radio or not are keeping it country as well
I hate when other singers/bands try their hands at covering anything Motley, but this.....this is that rare exception that I tip my hat to Mr. Moore for nailing the hell out of this song
my favorite motley crue song. my favorite Justin Moore song. can't believe Vince Neil gave him permission for the remake of this song if Vince didn't approve it would had never happened thank you Vince Neil!!!! awesome song!!!!!!!
I hardly ever say anything especially to speak bad about anyone love it when two can agree on anything from different sides to make everyone happy on both sides
Great cover of a classic rock n' roll song. I not only loved how Vince Neil starred in the song that was already a great cover, but I enjoyed that Moore payed tribute to the original music video and I love how Motley Crue showed their support in the video
I know, I was surprised. This guy has a really strong, clear and agile tenor voice. A well-trained singer for sure. He'd do VERY well in a rock context, perhaps without the Southern twang (which might put off some people, but then again Southern rock is also a thing...)
In 1985 as a beaten down 15 year old I set myself free, seeking to find my way in life with hopes of making a better home for myself. "You know I'm a dreamer, But my heart's of gold, I had to run away high, So I wouldn't come home low". Same year this song was released becoming a mental cheering on to carry forward on the road I HiT and the tune HiT MaSS sound waves. 35 years later with home found it's been a long and winding road but thanks to the Motliest of Crue's this song still cheers this grown kid on for peace of mind. "My hearts like an open book for the whole world to read, Sometimes nothing keeps me together at the seams". >We all have "Home Sweet Home" for our the souls to keep
I'm now 55, and I could still play this song from Motley Crue's THEATRE OF PAIN all night long. Hell, I did back in my 20s. By the way, I love the country artist, Justin Moore's version, backed up by the Crue.
I just heard this on the radio for the first time and came home to look it up. As an old school Motley fan ........ just WOW! This was awesome! I love everything about it. Great song and video!
Just spent about 20 minutes to find this song! Heard it a while ago but never saved it and for some reason I needed to feel what it made me feel back then....it was hard to find! Search engine saw "country guy sings a rock song", "country remake of rock"...blah blah....had to see a list of male singers to start with a name
I heard this on the TV at the clinic I work in this morning. At first I was pissed and popped up from my desk like a prairie dog lol. But this isn't bad. Growing on me. Plus its awesome that the Crue was in it.
I gotta go with Trager on this, when I first heard about it and heard it, I was why is Country singers singing rock and Country stations are all over it. I heard it twice, watched the viideo,, I like Moore, and I like how they infused the original video ( a classic)..I'm liking it..its his new single too
I like that other bands from other musical genres are dropping some respect for the Crue as they announce their final tour...the Crue had a huge and epic impact on music...they will always be legends. But I can't stand the country elements they incorporate...that ridiculous "twang." It's awful, and the opposite of metal. The Saints of Los Angeles are the ultimate heavy-metal bad boys of rock...it doesn't translate to ruin their heart poundin' metal with all that country crap. I'm pissed...I don't like it.
