Mr Haney he sings current country music. It’s not the same as it used to be; I’ll agree with that, but everything changes. However, putting the amazing Justin Moore in the same genre as Ariana Grande is a stretch.
The only song of his that I’ve heard that sounds a little pop is “Somebody else will” but “Small town USA, “Beer time”, “Point at you” and “Why we drink” is all twangy guitars. That’s how country music has been since Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Alabama and Brooks and Dunn came out. Nothing wrong with them or Justin.

I don't know how old you are or what era of country music you remember...I'm 51 yrs old so I got to experience the late 70s country music scene & the Outlaw Movement, then the early 80s & the Urban Cowboy Movement, then the 90s. Those were really good times... But most of this era of "so-called country music" is no where near country music, except for the singers I name off that are trying to bring back real country music. Kane Brown, Sam Hunt, Fl/Ga Line,Thomas Rhett, Kelsey Ballerinie, LoCash are NO WHERE NEAR REAL COUNTRY MUSIC. I know country music is going to change as time goes by, but country music with "snap-tracks" & "auto-tune" might as well be hip-hop, cookie-cutter, bro-pop. Just my honest opinion.

Love it. I don't usually listen to country music (although I have definite favorites such as Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard) but any song that has this line "it's alcohol abuse if you pour one down the sink" is an instant classic in my book.
