PM's should have to vacation nationally inside Canada if taking their family while in office. They can travel after their term on their own dime without tax payers having to pay hideous amounts of money to pay for their flights, crews, security etc, etc. Travel local within Canada while in office and on the tax payers dime!! I don't take my family on international holidays every year. Maybe every 4 years or so, but on my own dime. He isn't using his own dimes, he is using our dimes, so vacation in the Muskoka's or somewhere closer. Or better yet, resign now so Pierre Poilievre can fix this mess he made of Canada, and then take his family on costume holidays wherever he wants.

I read his apologists say he’s paying for the accommodations, but what they left out was the taxpayers are footing the bill for the jet, the crews to fly him there, and the transportation. To remove any skepticism, the PMO should disclose all financial details of the trip
He has enough leisure time. Flying around the world to "tour" and take selfies is leisure time. Most of these trips on our dime are NOT warranted. I'm afraid resting up in Costa Rica is only time invested in dreaming up more lies upon lies, which is all he is good for.

Imagine thinking this was a good time to leave the country on a two week vacation... Also note while many Canadians are still stuck due to immoral and illegal mandates and restrictions. A bit morbid,but absolutely true.We are retired so we don’t have to work.We do however have family and friends that are affected.This ass obviously doesn’t realize that there are people who don’t have the money to pay their bills ,food,gas etc.He decides to increase gas prices so now people can’t afford to even get to work. They have to cut the food bill what else can they do?This selfish,entitled,egotistical,juvenile mother f decided to go on a week long getaway,soon after COVID started.Let’s not forget about the raise he thought he deserved ,because he had to do so much more PM things because of COVID,my,my the poor kid.That’s not how salaries work,you have to do whatever comes along.How is being pampered hard? I disagree he doesn’t deserve a better security force. We all deserve security to be able to feel safe. I want a vacation as well .. He can be replaced , there’s nothing so paramount or special about this Prime Minister versus the next Canadian in line for this position if he is not around and if he is not safe in Costa Rica under normal security precautions he should go where he is safe. When we are struggling to pay rent, gas and food it’s not our job to pay for his luxurious vacations. He should use the money from his salary to pay for this.
Further if vacation in Costa Rica is dangerous maybe given there is a heat wave in Canada he could have a vacation amongst his supporters where he doesn’t have to feel threatened… there’s plenty of good places to vacate in Kanada during the summer… why can’t he rest here? Bay of Fundy, Mont Tremblant, Maritimes, Victoria, etc..
In Costa Rica on the tax payer dollar and on a flight not wearing a mask. Yet the rest of Canadians can get a fine for failing to keep their masks on during a flight. While he’s paying for his accommodations the rest of the expenses like fuel, security and losing for the entourage is costing the tax payers. Looks like breakfast télévision got the heritage media fund payout.
We are in a pandemic, but the rules don’t apply to him, he has a beautiful place to vacation better than 99% of us, what’s wrong with going to the cabin for a couple weeks, what’s wrong with this guy
You can head to Costa Rica while all the disabled people in Ontario are starving this is a sickening position you are showing the world you’re showing no empathy towards the most vulnerable at least say the word Disabled and imagine if you were disabled in Costa Rica and had no money for a plane ticket back and the government turned the tables on you Justin what are the thoughts behind these ideas that you have?
