Instead on putting the contour directly onto the skin, put it on the back of the hand or a tray and wipe off the excessive from the brush. That way it's easier to blend and build up.

I was excited to find this video bc our complexions are very similar. But, girl you scared me and made me lmao at the same time with that contouring moment. But I loved that you were so honest about how you were feeling in that moment. I can relate, but you nailed it in the end. I liked how you contoured and blended the foundation one after the other in unison to control the flow. You did that! Nice job.

I love the Juvia’s Place foundation! It’s definitely top 5 for me and my oily skin. The shade Kampala is my shade in a bottle & it lasts ALL day! I have backups because I’m afraid my shade will be discontinued. My shade is always discontinued in a foundation.

I am so glad I stumbled onto your video today. Your application is flawless, and you reminded me of all the brushes I should be using that I’m not. I’m wondering what your everyday foundation is because, like you said, that is a lot of work. I wish Juvia’s Place was better at helping you find the right match, because I think there’s probably a slightly better color for you, that would keep you from having to put in so much effort. You don’t like their powder, but what powder do you like? I am a MAC NW 45, although it is not perfect. The last year so I’ve been wearing The Ordinary, but it’s just not right. I need the perfect camera make up, and I’m going to ask Juvia’s Place to send me some samples. Doubt they will.

Thanks for doing this tutorial. I wanted help with picking my shades for Juvia's place and this helped. You should try mixing the 4 and 5 for contour...see how it looks. But I agree with you on the setting powder and the concealer seems a bit too light for you. I'm no expert but that's just my opinion

With the setting powder, have you tried letting ‘set’. They call it ‘Bake’. I do that and then go on to my eyeshadow or soothing else. Then go back and push it in-no crease.

See I use Burkina for a concealer since it was too light for me Malawi is my shade but I’m shook 🤔Burkina fits you because I feel like we’re a similar shade 😅

Its not just you!! I had the same issue!! LOL i went based on this random girl on instagram for my shade and when i bought everything it was completely OFFFFF! lol I thought i was Lagos for a while and then i realized it was "grey" on me so i went to Burkina and it worked "the best" but i still think its not my absolute match.

It’s so weird that I like this foundation since I’m not really a full coverage person but I use it for going out since it’s cheaper than my born this way that I use as performance make up. & Baby I struggle with contour as well i tried the foundation stick in a darker color for it but I’m not feeling It

Hey sis! I think the foundation its self is good for those who like this type of formula. I think because i'm not used to the "clay, creamy, thick" formulas anymore, I tend to avoid it LOL but i do like it for going out or photoshoots just not everyday but them eyeshadow are LIT!!!
