JW Elder to PIMO to POMO: "I want to help others!" 

This was an amazing opportunity that Wendi afforded me the opportunity to share my story. This journey can be tough. I’m here for anyone that needs that support even if it’s just a listening ear. Thank you for listening to my story.

Wow, I did the same thing from 2017 till 2019 I was PIMO going to meetings it was the worst!!! I stay till I literally could not take it then just stop going to the meetings. My husband confronted me after missing meetings for 6 week. I told him crying all I learned, come to find out he was PIMO too🤣🥳…. Recently we both disassociated our self my whole family left 2019! 🙏🏾

I'm just so relieved NONE of our kids got baptized into this.

The more a JW learns, the more he will understand that he is being manipulated by the Watchtower. It will always be easier to manipulate the ignorant than the knowledgeable. Today thanks to the internet more and more JWs are learning and leaving this fundamentalist cult. The end of this cult is before us.

Any jw wanting to exit, I would like to share my experience, I've pomo now for some 4 years, I'm 82 years old this year and have 4 generations (ha ha)in the truth, I became totally inactive after researching the internet and csa cover ups, I am not disfellowshiped, but the best way to leave is to become TOTALLY INACTIVE and if questioned by anyone including the elders, tell them that you have a PERSONAL PRIVATE CONSCIENCE ISSUE, you MUST say NO MORE be like Jesus when he was bullied by the scribes and Pharisees, remember that SILENCE IS GOLDEN. after a short period they will just brand you as being spiritually weak, if any of you have been a jw for years you will understand that the once a year memorial attenders are not shunned, in fact quite the opposite. Remember that the PERSONAL, PRIVATE CONSCIENCE ISSUE. Must remain that way. I'm fully aware that age is a factor, but remember that we ALL have a CONSCIENCE. best of Luck (ha ha)on your escape.

There are so many folks leaving....my goodness!

I was molested when I was about 7 years old, by a brother in the congregation. I didn't tell my mom until I was 36 years old. She responded with an attitude of not caring and quickly changed the subect.

Loving seeing these young men stand up for the truth and use their voice to expose the organization.

This Saturday I,m driving my beautiful active pimi wife Nicole to the Kingdom hall so she can go witnessing at the markets. I dissociated in 2018 aged 57 after getting addicted to apostate videos for 4 years 2014 to 2018 , I just had to be sure the apostates were telling the truth . I,m now a atheist and Nicole is a active pimi and we have a great marriage, Nicole can't drive so I take her to the Tuesday night meetings and Saturday morning field service groups , I smile and wave at JWs in the car park just to show them I,m a kind and considerate apostate to win them over without a word. Hi Wendy I was a Elder for years. My story is too long for the comments. To summarize Jesus called me out of the JW. I had a supernatural experience with him and he still guides me. I am also 45 and listening to the gentleman' s experience I feel for him. This is the first time watching your channel. When Jesus was guiding me I couldn't go up and give a talk after a while. I stayed in the JW because of my family and not wanting to lose or hurt them but eventually got disfellowshipped of Apostasy. I eventually lost my wife who was and still is a pioneer. It has been about 8 years since. I feel the pain the of hearing such experiences but what I know not from what others say or through a third party that Jesus is real. We can't experience him through Organized religion but only through opening our hearts to him. If we seek him with all we have he will show up and this is true healing power we will find and will have a peace and joy that nothing in the world can compare to it. He will teach us, guide our life as the fine Shepard. God bless.

Every jw watching please read for yourself the book Crisis Of Conscience by Raymond Franz a former GB member, it will fully open your eyes to the truth about the "truth".

Thank- you Wendi & Jared, I was a 4th. generation JW, being a auxiliary pioneer for 6 years & 4 as a regular, I was Never Happy as a JW; I wasted my Youth, Time & Energy for the Organization. Since I left, my Mental Health has improved 180°, I keep focus & busy with Productive and Meaningful goals, I'm working on my Master's degree & do a Lot of Charity work,. Things that the Organization loves to discourage.

How can they justify spending millions of dollars on media centers when children are starving.thank you both for sharing your story will help so many people.

that's so true..I grew up in the 70's and do NOT recognize this religion and by the way..they were telling everybody the same things back then about "you won't even graduate"..same thing they were telling people in the 40's!!!

Barely 1 year after losing my teenage son to suicide, an elder I used to think very highly of told me that if my relationship with God/Jah was as good as I said or thought it was, I wouldn’t be grieving my son’s death so hard or deeply 💔

Excellent interview!! I relate to both of you in so many ways! It is actually very comforting to hear your experiences and perspectives.

This describes JW’s perfectly! “People who believe false things can’t be around honest people. If you believe things that are false, you can’t have freethinking people who are skeptical and curious and who care about you enough to tell you the truth and free you from the foggy, narcissistic death grip of error and falsehood and delusion. Who is content to let you live in a delusion?? …..People who share those delusions and who don’t care about you. Delusion, fantasy, falsehoods and propaganda are solitary confinement. The reason propaganda is so dangerous is because it isolates people. And through isolation people go crazy. If you are isolated and you know it you experience a peculiar type of agony that will motivate you to do whatever it takes to get contact with people. If you are isolated and you don’t know it because you’re only surrounded by people who share your same delusions (cults) …..you are isolated because the only thing you have in common with the people around you is shared delusion. Collective madness is not emotional intimacy. The isolation that separates us from each other when we get wrapped in falsehoods is the worst thing of all because it is without obvious symptom…. Yes, you become unstable, defensive, inoculated against any truth teller and will attack anybody that tells the truth in your environment, but you can’t love, you can’t be loved, you can’t relax. You are always on guard for whatever might puncture your delusions which provokes rage which drives good people away and anybody might rescue you from delusion will be driven away and you are left alone in the foggy devil ribbed cage bosom of falsehood… That which is not real, that which is not true, that which is not proven, that which is the opposite of truth. You are full of peculiar hatreds, instability, vanity… because anybody who just repeats lies and only listens to lies is vain because they won’t submit themselves to reason and evidence. So, the vanity, the narcissism, the isolation the peculiar hatreds…. to be falling without even knowing that you’re falling, to be ill with no symptoms….. is the most dangerous thing of all. And to be lonely in a crowd of thousands of people cheering all the same falsehoods, to be certain, pompous, to be vain, to be full of rage at anybody who threatens these delusions…. to be told that the pursuit of truth is the acceptance of evil… to be isolated and thereby easily manipulated. People who pursue delusion and end up wrapped in delusion are saying… I can’t be loved, all I can do is pretend to merge. I can’t be loved for who I am so I will hide in a room full of photocopied people with photocopied opinions and pretend that I’m part of something. I will dissolve my individuality, I will shred and eviscerate any original thought I might possibly have, any curiosity, any skepticism I might possibly have so that I can dissolve into the nothing of the photocopies around me. I can’t have love, but I can self abase and self erase into proximity. I can nod, smile, agree, and praise who everyone praises and hate who everyone hates… I can be a shadow cast by the tombstone of my mind. I can’t exist, I can’t excite, I can’t be unique, but I can blend. I can submit I can conform and then I will have physical proximity combined with unbelievable isolation. I can’t approach the truth so I will just burrow into empty people. We can only ever meet in reality itself. We cannot meet in fantasy we cannot meet in lies we cannot meet in propaganda. We can only meet in the truth. When you are with the truth, you can do without people because you are with yourself and with the facts and reality. When you don’t have the truth you have a bottomless desperate need for people that you could never connect with. If all you have in common with others, with those around you is a mutual agreement to slash your mind into ribbons and accept whatever lies come rolling down the conveyor belt, you’re not with anyone, and you will never feel loved. The price of conformity is the absence of love. The price of conformity is terror of solitude. Truth tellers can handle the journey from the town of the dead to the outposts of the living and the thinking. It’s a long journey across that desert. The ghosts can’t make it. You can’t love a character in a video game because they are programmed. You can’t love people who don’t think for themselves because there is no one to love, thought is the only individuating characteristic that we have. The only thing that we have that is uniquely our own is our capacity to think for ourselves, and that is the only passageway through which the light of love can reach. They suffer in the worst possible way which is to not even know what they are missing… Avoid it if you can at all possible costs.”

I was a regular pioneer in my 20's. Now I AM a Christ Conscious Awakened Mystic Soul. I still hold the Bible in strong regard but it holds completely new meaning. Rudolph Steiner's work and Theosophy really resonates with me.

I have tried 2 times to leave this cult but my wife starts crying and saying she doesn't deserve that so I am still PIMO out of guilt. I admire your courage and strength in pulling the bandaid.

What a great video! I could listen to you all for another couple hours. Hope there is a sequel down the road. I'm a fellow gen xer. Relate to what was mentioned toward the end about life is short, so don't be miserable- most of my time as jw I was miserable. Also the thought about helping those less fortunate , doing the street witnessing and someone was sleeping on the street and handing them a tract as they are trying to stay warm. Im the only one in my side of the family that was a JW. A uncle from my side of the family abused me from age 7 to about age 14, so about 7 years. It stopped bekause i ran away from home age 15 and never have been back. My mom never knew, but years later the wind of the abuse came to her attention but bekause she was fond of him and he was very helpfull to her on many occasions. My mum has disowned me up to this day. I left me mums home in 1992 and up till today have never seen her again. Note though she was never aware i became a JW as my mum was a penticostal. I was baptised a JW in 2003.

Don't get me started on the blood. We had to get help from another town cong. Logic and common sense was what helped my husband stay on his toes and his faith. My case was talked about in one of the annual meetings so We were told by an elder who died already

In my case, what I did , because I didn't want to go though the humillacion of being disfellowshipped. I told the elders of my congregation that we were going to move to another state, and I would tell them which congregation I would atten to, let them know. I know some of ex JW or JW would criticize me, but it worked for me. Hopefully will help some what I did.

Jared, My family was in a congregation near Olean. We probably know a lot of the same people. It would be interesting to talk with you. You probably know the Gleasons and Krivulkas and Allen's. In Olean, I knew Rick Bryson and the Kamery family.

It is so sad to see how many leave Jehovah. I am not speaking about leaving the organization that is entirely separate from actually losing faith in Jehovah God altogether. This is ehat happens when humans follow humans put their trust in man rather then God. Read 2 Thessalonians and pray on it. Many have been stumbled... WT is crushing witnesses left and right.

Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of "eternal life" to all who realize that they are sinners deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever they trusted in before, if indeed they trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ "alone" for salvation.
