This gets worse when you give him his higher end canon stats. At 22 feet tall, this gives him an over 2 meter height difference over the real animal, and his most recent weight is 13 metric tons. Given with two bites his ancestor was able to snap proto Rexy's (and these ancestors are stated to be weaker than the modern clones-at least for Rexy) neck, Zeb is just stacked for combat. Which makes sense since in the Jurassic universe Giga lived with and fought with T.rex naturally. How do you fight the best? Become the best. As for intelligence, by canon stats he's smarter than Rexy, though yes he was duped in the film by pretty simple tricks. This is likely referring to his battle intellgence, dominating a far more experienced fighter which even the super intelligent Indominus rex couldn't accomplish (her claw scene is actually luck, Rexy missed a bite and Indom took advantage and when Rexy got up again she won the fight).
Yesterday I watched a video from ExtinctZoo where he was talking about Giganotosaurus and he brought how paleontologists have found fossils of a Titanosaur that seem to either be from a close relative of or Argentinosaurus itself
I actually love giga and it's my favorite large carnivorous Dino. The jurassic version is a titan that isn't so aggressive like the rexes and behaves like a real animal and it's a nice change from the basic carnivore behavior we've gotten from the jurassic franchise

If he’s fighting the jp3 spino he wins but if we let the jp3 spino grow since it’s confirmed the same spino in JWCC then it could be 50/50 since the spino is longer and taller but giga is heavier by 1 ton

Still would have struggled against a realistic T. rex. Any body part a real adult rex gets its mouth around is done. A realistic rex was also stronger and heavier, more agile, more intelligent, and had binocular vision, which is a massive advantage.

Binocular vision isn’t a massive advantage in living theropods aka birds (Martin, 2009); the idea of Tyrannosaurus having better eyesight is based on an outdated, mammalocentric understanding of eyesight. Same with intelligence: the entire reason Tyrannosaurus is said to be smarter is because it has a relatively larger brain and because other theropods with croc-like relative brain sizes were assumed to be as dumb as crocs….except it turns out crocs are far smarter than once assumed, and by extension so were “more primitive” theropods like Giganotosaurus, eliminating the intelligence gap. I do agree that a Rex bite to a Giga is going to kill it very quickly, but the reverse is also true; Giganotosaurus has considerably weaker jaw muscles, but it’s still not as weak as some people assume in that regard, and more importantly it has a bunch of other adaptations to compensate for it-such as much sharper teeth, a wider gape (both actual maximum gape and effective maximum gape), and the ability to use its neck muscles to impart far more force behind its upper jaw when biting, so that it bites with much more force than would be indicated by the bite force of its jaw muscles alone.
This is certainly one of those cases where the animal is very loosely based on the real one. Say what you will about Dominion, but I quite like the design of this Giga despite its inaccuracies.
But all Jurrassic world and Jurrassic park=real life and all Animals in all Jurrassic world and Jurrassic park solos and rexy is stronger than giga because blue solos giga extreme difficulty and rexy solos blue negative difficulty
Also, I would argue that Indominus is the strongest in the universe based on her intelligence alone. But I think Rexy falls short in comparison to both Spino and the neighboring Rex, Buck.
I honestly think before I finish the video, that JWD Giga would win because, although not speedy, just couldn't be harmed significantly by a real-life one unless if it were to charge and snake attack or risk being grabbed by the teeth of Zeb and dying then and there.
Realistic T. rex wipes the floor with any other theropod in the films. We now know Rexy was significantly underpowered in every way but straight-line speed compared to the real thing.
Giga was also underpowered in the film as to how much damage it could do (stop bringing up the bite force BS, bite force isn’t remotely the only relevant variable for how much damage a bite can inflict), and BOTH theropods were OVERpowered when it comes to durability (realistically, neither of them are surviving a bite from the other).
@@bkjeong4302 watch Goji centers video on accurate Trex in Jurassic Park and you'll see what he means lol. The Jp Trex's teeth are shaped incorrectly like steak knives and are all varying lengths meaning it couldn't apply an even amount of pressure when biting and this actually nerfed the Trexs bite effectiveness throughout the JP series. A realistic Rex can powderise bone which means it would have killed the Spino the moment it slammed it into the ground by its throat and when Rexy grabbed Zebs nose in Dominions finale if her teeth were the right shape she would have been able to tear off Zebs upper jaw... But because of the shape of the Rex's teeth in JP it changed how the Rex's bite worked going from being a powerful bone crushing bite to an ineffective slashing bite that can't apply pressure evenly (Needed to break bone easier) and it causes the JP Rex's too seemingly slip and lose their grip on another Apex relatively easily... Honestly the first 2 JP movies were amazing because of how the Trex was portrayed they really watered it down in later films and it doesn't seem like the King of the Dinosaurs anymore they really need to retcon the Trex at some point and make it feel powerful again it doesn't have to be the strongest creature in the series but it also shouldn't be there as a jobber to make the new Apex look stronger.
Even though the Spinosaurus is bigger in Camp Cretaceous than the Giga, yes it’s been confirmed the Spinosaurus in Camp Cretaceous is the largest theropod again, but it’s definitely not the most powerful. Zeb and the Indominus still remain on top. Zeb would dog walk the Spinosaurus.

Rex's prey items of choice possess the most formidable and impenetrable weapons and defenses the animal kingdom has ever seen and rex either hunted in family units or alone. And just so y’all know, Giga >> Indom it’s HEAVILY shown throughout the Narrative that JW Rexy is a weaker version of jp1 Rexy. As she had a visual decrease in musculature & Bulk then she used to have way back in 1993 (which is what a normal scientifically accurate Tyrannosaur looked like at the time, so Rexy having a decrease to what she normally had on her body is a clear indication of aging), with them outright stating jp Rexy to be her “former glory”. Meaning her body would be far more decrepit and less strong as it was back in her jp state. But then for JWD, time and time again are we told her mass increase signifies a higher level of power. With her being stated to have been “RESTORED to her former glory” blatantly stating she’s BACK to how she was in Jurassic park, which again, is a narratively superior version of JW Rexy. We also see this coming into fruition when comparing her official JWD model and JP model and them CONSISTENTLY retaining the same width and depth and sharing nigh identical frameworks. Regaining ALL of her musculature & bulk, which would further solidify her being restored to her prime. And as we saw in dominion, the Giganotosaurus DOMINATED this Rexy physically, to the point where he knocked her out cold. Giga was shown to beat this restored Rexy with less difficulty than indom did on a weaker Rexy, which would upscale Giga from all the prior feats of strength indom performed. This would mean that the story being told here is as simple as Giga being superior to Indom in terms of power. And this narrative is given semblance through Rexy’s bulk and her having an equal prowess to jp Rexy who as already explained is superior to JW Rexy. And keep in mind that statements & the narrative within the franchise is what gives CONTEXT to the feats performed in film. You can’t just disregard the literal context behind the feats. An example of this would be how many people use to say that Indom’s bite force is fodder because her jaws were unable to crush glass, and that only her teeth were able to puncture it, thus her bite being unable to fully break through glass would downscale her bite force. Which is simply retarded because we know that the context behind that glass & what it’s designed for is that it was STATED to be a material stronger than any steel, meaning even puncturing it would be an impressive feat of bite strength. Thus this would apply to the Giga, and how the context behind him beating this restored Rexy solidifies his superiority. Another thing to acknowledge is that Indom was struggling against Rexy in the first portion of their 1v1. Where Rexy found opportunities to do combo maneuvers when biting on indom which obviously when you’re opponents defenses are down, you’re able to effectively break them down. Compare this to her performance against Giga who constantly blocked her attacks, blocked her maneuvers and moved in a way that prevents Rexy from sufficiently grabbing hold of her or performing follow up tactics. He was defending and closing openings stopping her from doing those same combo maneuvers. Also, when Giga was interacting with the humans, you can visually see him moving at a much more slower pace than he did with Rexy. As with Rexy, he was actually in combat and moving at a MUCH faster pace in order to stop her attacks. And just because he was trying to kill the humans doesn’t mean he was going all out the EXACT same as when he fought Rexy. Why? Because when the humans at one point were RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM, yet he didn’t do ANYTHING😭. Compare this to when he was CONSTANTLY slamming into Rexy and using his physical force until she was defeated. Visually acting with much more force behind his blows when tussling around with Rexy then his slower pace & less constant attacks on the humans. And whatever happens within the film itself is obviously considered canon. And for Giga’s dura, the knife and Tranq dart didn’t leave ANY damage on Giga, it only pierced that very first layer of skin. But to be “damaged” you would have to leave SOME sort of injury behind… as there are clear shots of Giga’s muzzle with NO damage on it. You could talk about his reaction to the blows all you want, that’s just pain resistance. That doesn’t disregard the actual durability, in which Giga took NO real damage from. And even then, the ONLY major reaction was with the trank dart, which literally any other dinosaur reacts that way with Tranqs within the Jurassic verse. Thus Rexy’s bite force would NOT be contradicted, in fact, Giga tanking this 6 Ton bite force is insane, especially since bite force relies on the crushing force of the jaws, as for the teeth; Rexy's teeth are MUCH Thicker and NOT as sharp or serrated as a knife is. So a knife (in addition to it being much thinner yet serrated) would be able to seep through skin more easily… and that’s simply just logical since an object with LESS expanding width would be able to go through something more easier. Thus Rexy's actual bite FORCE is not contradicted since it relies on the crushing of the jaws, while her teeth aren't as sharp or focused. But the 6 ton pressure from the jaws is still being tanked…. While Indom’s Osteoderms were unable to withstand this same Rexy bite (at least the well-placed bites). Not to mention Giga tanked a downward slam-bite to the muzzle which would only make his blunt-force dura all the more impressive. And even if Indom has a more powerful bite force, that wouldn’t even matter since Giga tanked an “unmatched” bite force 🤷🏻♂️ And now Giga’s bite force. While yes, this dominion Giga’s jaws was struggling to break through a metal safety ladder, that does NOT take into account how his fight went down with Rexy since ALL the times Giga bit Rexy, there was ZERO DAMAGE from those bites. Her skin was NOT penetrated at all, Thus her durability would also NOT be downscaled. In fact, every time Giga bit her, he only did that so he can clamp onto then toss, throw, and slam Rexy onto things… physically overpowering her. That is how he actually did harm to her, not from the bites themselves. But the ONLY time Rexy ever took damage from Giga’s bite was when it specifically bit the membrane on Rexy which is near the snout, which just so happens to be the most sensitive part of a dinosaur… plus she has never ONCE been bitten on the membrane before, so this wouldn’t even compare to anything. And thus, NOTHING would be downscaled🤷🏾♂️ In dominion, Giga had a disease known as ragged tooth which can be seen near his teeth. And if you know anything about ragged tooth, it basically weakens the jaws through the bacteria. Thus it wouldn’t be on Par with a healthy bite force. So what about a healthy bite force? Prologue Giga *which is the EXACT same cloned Giga from dominion* was shown to not have any scars or ragged tooth on him. And we know that prologue Rexy is the “EXACT same” as the regular Rexy other than the visual feather difference. This is also not even REMOTELY contradicted by any form of media, feats, or lore. If anything, this is only further proven within the movie, when Rexy has a flashback to herself 65 million years ago. And for even more consistency, the prologue Rexy even has the exact same model as the current dominion Rexy (again, other than the slight feather difference 🪶 ). But when Giga’s NON-infected jaws bites her… (basically a healthy bite) Giga’s jaws CRUSH the neck to the point where it straight up kills her. And to show how truly impressive that feat is: We have Indom’s jaws being capable of puncturing glass stronger than any steel, and then we have those SAME jaws continuously biting on Rexy’s neck. And then we see her neck was still overall fine, with some scars on it, but overall fine and was still alive after all that. And then we have Giga… Giga’s one SINGULAR bite literally KILLED Rexy while ALL of Indom’s bites were NOT able to kill her. Thus 1# Giga’s (healthy) bite force 2# Indom’s bite force 3# Giga’s (unhealthy) bite force The Twitter statement that Colin made was said because the fans were bugging him on making the T-Rex “look weak” and it was outright confirmed he had ALWAYS intended dominion Rexy to be more powerful in the actual narrative… even BEFORE dominion was released when they were still in Production… Plus again, they VISUALLY made a difference to her official model itself to solidify her power increase🤷🏾♂️ And Finally, the “jwd rexy got fatter” argument is literally retarded 😭. The dominion models themselves NEVER included any fat when constructing them, it was actually quite the opposite & gave added on “muscle” to them…. Well..there is an unnamed very large sauropod from that same formation, some theorise it as a second Argentinosaurus species, Patagotitan or it’s own genus, but it seems a promising candidate

You probably mix it up with an other dino. The animal in the video is called GigaNOTOsaurus not GIGANTOsaurus, there was a dino called GIGANTOsaurus, but that one was a sauropod.

What I want to know about the JWD Giga is this: Why “Zeb”? What made them choose Zeb as the name for the JWD Giganotosaurus? On another note, the first time I saw Zeb’s design, I had COMPLETELY forgotten that the real Giganotosaurus had such a pronounced chin in its lower jaw. So I initially didn’t see anything wrong with Zeb’s face and head, but I have been properly chastised by paleontology accuracy videos like yours.
Um, at 6:08 the highest biteforce estimate shown for Tyrannosaurus rex is over 94 thousand newtons, shown under the over 61 thousand newton estimate though...
Realistically, he would rival cc spino, who is also an adult, with the same size, its really a 50/50, both have the weapons to kill each other and armor resist their enemie's weapons, spino's thick hide could shrug off a flipping trex bite, and its cannon that its just tanky, also it has these op arms to grapple, and the hide is important cuz the giga's bite is based around shredding flesh and making the enemy bleed to death, but spinos thick hide would make it difficult to achive this, on the other hand giga can body spino cuz of him been bulkier, and if spino is thrown off his feet its over, but if the fight goes on water its way too one sided, Then indominus is just a smarter giga with a stronger bite force and camo ability as well as thick hide, only thing giga surpasses indominus at is bulk, so he can still compete but I would give it to indominus.
I disagre. I do accurate accurate giga wins. I think the hit and run tactic will win. Zebs poor senses mean that the giga will strike first and get off deep wounds. (Zebs strongest armor runs down his back, not as much on the flank) the irl giga would go for zebs flank and legs. if it bit into large sauropods like andesaurus im sure the minimal armor on the flank of zeb wouldnt do much. Then the giga will then run away and zeb cant catch it. Then giga will track it down. This repeats until zeb givs up and leaves the area. In a arena type setting zeb will win though.

A real T. rex was of about equal length and height (according to the latest T. rex specimens), much stronger and heavier, had 2.5x the bite force, was more agile, was more intelligent, and had human-like depth perception due to binocular vision, which is a huge advantage. You contrarians keep looking for some other theropod to knock off T. rex, but it’s probably not going to happen. T. Rex’s body plan and senses had another 20-30 million years of fine tuning over Giga. That time was put to good use.
Cc Spino is 10 tons. Giga is 11. Though, various sources claim different weights. Some are as low as 9 tons; others as high as 11. I saw one commenter- in the comment section for the vid- claim that recent sources put the giga at 13 tons. If Zeb is 13, then he's undoubtedly larger than Spino
No official source has ever given a weight for cc spino. It could be the same, big eatie is a smaller Rex than rexy. So it makes spino look bigger m Giga was dubbed the biggest by Allan Grant himself
The main reason why I think cc spino is the strongest big carni is because it fought against 2 adult recession and wasn't that damaged. It was only chased off when it was ambushed by both rexes
Feel like IRL would win a lot of fights purely because of them not being shrink-wrapped, so they'd have their bulk. They wouldnt be as fast, but a head to head. Their better eye sight, agility and shear bulk/strength would likely win them the battle. But saying that, Zeb is very OP, but at the same time, we only see him fight a very old rex, one which is far weaker than the real animal in many regards. (No offence Rexy, still love you). Saying that the prologue rex was likely in its prime, so maybe not. Honestly though, unlike rex where the movie one is far weaker than the real one, IRL giga (as much as I adore it and dislike the movie one) might loose to Zeb, mainly because of how OP they made it. Not to mention, giga wouldnt have the same level of experience fighting other theropods, even on an instinctive level, whereas the movie giga was a competitor of rex, thanks to the silly prologue lol. I still think the irl giga would be stronger and fair ok, but I think the main plus it has is there'd likely be more than one of it. Mapusaurus, a very close relative, has some decent evidence for living in groups. So if giga did also, they could take Zeb down with numbers. Also on Zeb, the head just looks weak. The teeth look stronger, but the lack of muscle on the head makes me think its bite would be weaker than the real animal's, than and the less muscular neck. So honestly, whilst I think Zeb would win, its closer than movie rex vs irl rex. Irl is still cooler though, and just a more interesting creature, you know... cos its real.
The JW Giga might have a size and armour boost, but its laidback and ponderous behaviour is no match for a determined sauropod hunter like the real life Giga. The real Giga's teeth would struggle to pierce Zeb's armour, but would outpace and wear him down bit by bit.

I've come across a interview with director of Jurassic Worlds, Colin Trevorrow, and he claimed spinosaurus it possibly the strongest theropod of the franchise. I am not quite sure, I'd sure had my money on fully grown indominus, but this is what he claimed.
