My favorite Pokémon has always been Garchomp. Having never been to wayward cave, I encountered it for the first on Cynthia’s team and got absolutely destroyed by it. I thought it had to be the strongest Pokémon in the game. That experience and the fact that it just looks so cool skyrocketed Garchomp quickly to the top of my favorites list.

I did the same thing when I was a kid when it rained one Halloween! I had a yellow raincoat and rain boots so I had my grandmother sew a pikachu tail onto it and bought the mask out of a bargain bin. So while all the other kids were told to stay inside; I got all the candy I could get and no one could do anything about it.
One pokemon that's a big fav of mine is Raikou. In 4th Grade I was wildly obsessed with Pokemon. One night I had this odd dream. I was in a temple, similar to the one featured in Pokemon Manaphy and the Temple of the Sea. While in there, water began to pour in and was flooding the place, threatening to trap me inside. A couple pieces of rubble fell, revealing Raikou. Raikou jumped down and had me ride on it's back, jumping around and racing against the rising waters. And then I woke up. It's also interesting to note how Raikou slightly resembles a tiger. I was born in the year of the tiger myself, earning me the nickname 'Torako' from my grandfather. It's due to these reasons that Raikou holds a special place in my heart

Arcanine will always be my favorite. My first Fire Type, my favorite type, epic design, more like an animal, and epic abilities. I like the Eeveelutions too, especially Umbreon. Plus Lucario and Ninetails.
Mew is indeed a legend. I am from Greece btw.. So go figure, when I was a kid who remembers when XD I used to play pokemon too and all I was hearing at my school from other kids was about the pokemon cards and I was so jealous for the kids with real cards and not the fake ones, but never got into any trouble buying some myself or at least looking for how to do it and where to go to buy them, so every time a kid showed up with those fancy original cards I was like, dude can I take a peak? And all that... And there was another thing... Mew! And Mewtwo!! Rumors about it, mysticism, we all knew mew existed, and that is so powerful and that you need to be a hacker to catch it, but nobody really knew exactly how to do it. The ones that knew where hard to find and most of the times if you asked them how, they would just take the Gameboy and catch it for you without you looking!!!! Mew, yes! It is a real legend.

My top 10 always vary except for the top 2 entries, before I say my 10 favorite, some honorable mentions: Empoleon (First Pokemon I ever evolved to the final stage.) Watchog (The only helpful early rodent in the series.) Magmar (Fire Punch is powerful on this thing.) Now for the Top 10 itself: 10. Dialga (The first legendary Pokemon I caught, Pokemon Diamond being the first Pokemon I have ever played.) 9. Blastoise (I just love its Special Attack stat, so powerful.) 8. Lucario (One of the few Pokemon who are almost on my team. His Mega Evolution is awesome as well.) 7. Serperior (Despite being forced to listen to Servine's annoying call, I trained up and it was all worth it.) 6. Talonflame (I just love humiliating Blazikens everywhere.) 5. Sceptile (It is the only starter I liked that was from Hoenn.) 4. Samurott (I love otters and samurais, so why not combine them?) 3. Tyrantrum (As a kid, I always wanted a T-Rex as a pet, now that dream came true.) 2. Reshiram/Zekrom (I love both of them the same, both specialize in their attack types, I also love the fact that they are two of the three pieces of a single powerful dragon.) 1. Kyurem (I don't care what anyone says, Kyurem is and will always be my favorite Pokemon of all time, I love everything about all three forms, I love it how they are fusions, reuniting with one of the pieces is an awesome concept, now I'm just waiting for his final form.)

I’ve always loved the designs of the dark types. Absol, Umbreon, etc. they’re amazing. Vulpix has always found a spot in my heart too, as well as Feraligatr, since that was my first partner when I got Heart Gold.

Absol is my favorite Pokémon. When I was younger me and my friends would play with Pokémon cards, and I had an absol card that had a move called doom news that knocked out the other Pokémon at the end of their turn, no matter what. I thought it was so cool. I still have the card with me today.

Shinx, without a doubt. From the moment I first saw it on a walkthrough of SuperSkarmory's, I fell in love with Shinx instantly. It was the first I got to level 100, and my first shiny.
Scyther can't learn fly because, as a bug, it has an exoskeleton, which is much lighter than a real skeleton. It might not be able to support the added weight of a trainer. Scizor would probably have had a better chance at flying if it's wings had gotten bigger instead of smaller
Umbreon. It's the best. I've always been a fan of dark types and eeveelutions, I always feel close to an umbreon with it evolving via firendship, and then it was one of my first shinies, which I have used in countless battles. It's my adorable unkillable demon.
I don't have top 10 favourite pokemons but i have few :) -Azumarill - not because it's cute, but it was my first water pokemon, and it was kinda strong. -Sceptile - My first, strong grass pokemon that is very cool. -Electrode - I like his simple design, and he rarerly failed me. -Aron - Very resistant, and weird pokemon (i love weird pokemon) -Skarmory - Next very resistant and strong pokemon And my favorite of them all: -Graveler - i like his design, and i just feel very big nostalgia to it (o holy Graveler, what do i do without you against elecric type!

My absolute favorite Pokemon is Pikachu, and no, I'm not just saying that. When I was little, the first ever Pokemon game I had was Pokemon Yellow, and I absolutely fell in love with thie Pikachu I had for my starter Pokemon. So I don't care what anyone says, Pikachu will always be my favorite. Oh, and Mudkip, because it evolves into Marshtomp, which is so much of a better Water/Ground combo than Quagsire.

I love Zangoose for no reason other than its the sole Pokemon which has allowed me to win all but one of the Pokemon matches that I've played with my primary deck, thick skin means that status effects don't bother him, invite and strike for one any energy which swaps the active and does 20 damage to the benched of your choice (and it becomes the opponents new active) and strike through which does 50 damage (for 3 any energy) and 10 damage to each benched which has already taken damage :) This Pokemon allows me to annoy the opponents to death and, once they've taken some damage, if I've set up my aegisslash, I send it out and use painful sword (3 any energy) which doubles the damage which each of your opponents Pokemon has taken :P The ultimate sweep!!

TheCaliger I never understood why even though Haunter is so cool, it evolves into Gengar, which looks like some sort of plush toy you'd bring with you to bed.
JanitoRiceMeister I don't like Gengar. But Gengar /is/ the shadow of a certain other Pokemon. Haunter, good design, a ghost Pokemon. Interesting personality, when I've seen it in the anime. It's my favourite. Loved using Shadow Ball back in the day. Made it my main.
crabmanwoman Why does Dragonite evolve from Dragonair? I mean, Dragonair is a majestic, blue water dragon-snake and Dragonite is... well... a fat Charizard.
It's hard to pick a top ten, but no matter how many cool, freaky or cute designs end up in the games, it's always been between Gardevoir and Lapras for me, despite there being no personal reason or special experience I've had with either. I just really, really like them.
