I would say that we Finns generally love this song as it is a bit special and has several musical (and maybe even textual) aspects attractive to us. The big issue, in my opinion, is whether he can deliver the same performance on stage. If he is able to do that there shouldn't really be a question of the winner this year.

As a Finn I would choose Käärijä for the ESC. It is a very catchy song. It tells a very Finnish story as well, of an responsible adult having a night out, drinking wanting to destroy his other/better side who tries to remind him that he isn't usually like this... but tonight he is! He wants to forget all his worries, go to dance and just have fun.

The guy has had a rough week at work, he wants to go to the bar round. At the bar he needs to drink plenty of piña coladas to get rid of his typical Finnish shyness and to go to the dance floor (I don't fear the world now). Finally, it happens & the blond dancing guy takes over, so the music genre changes. I love this song! It punches in a good way. 🥊🕺🎶

I read somewhere that the artist's dancing persona is called Mr. Cha Cha and only appears with a fair amount of alcohol. His favorite band is Rammstein and you can hear it in the song.

This is such a proper Finnish, wonderful party music. Finns are notoriously shy, so at the end of a hard work week it's sometimes nice to go out and relax. And sometimes after a few beers, the dancing feet start to flutter and you feel relaxed. Even the conversation goes well in Chinese when necessary. It feels like you could hug the whole world. Definitely not feeling shy anymore. And after the weekend, you can handle it again at work 😁 When you listen to this, you'll be in a good mood. Definitely a Wrapper for Liverpool. Cha Cha Cha 🤩

Käärijä won the UMK by landslide. He has made music about addictions before, mostly about gambling and everything around it. This one talks about how people need alcohol to be able to be happy, especially men. The softer part comes out when alcohol wins over inhibitions.
