Käthe Kruse Rare Doll Room 

Fabulous program. I did not know that Kathe Kruse made both dollhouse dolls and life-size dolls. The program was well presented and well researched.

I recently purchased a 2 1/2 - 3 year old show window doll, not in the best of shape, but still very interesting and heavy. Through the stockinet body covering, you can feel the ball joints in the legs. These do not function, but definitely still show that they must have made very nice . The head is some sort of composition which has been touched up with a squared peg that fits into the body. That would explain that the heads could be interchangeable. Does anyone have more information about these figures?
