The more I watch K/DA the trippier it gets! It clearly feels like I'm talking about real people in a real group with real personalities etc and so the line between animation, game and reality becomes so blurred that my brain is malfunctioning! But it's just goes to show how great this is, the quality, the animation, the editing, the directing is so on point! This is probably what the future of music looks like, a mix of animation, virtual world and reality which I'm not totally against after seeing how good this is.
Soyeon and Miyeon did yet again an incredible job and the same goes for the remaining artists. While I like this song I still prefer 'The baddest' !

Correction by default, it is distinctively called anime and not cartoons, essentially cartoons are animation and animated characters for kids while anime is for teens/adult. Just saying this to be clear and so people don't misinterpret anime is for kids entertainment because it ain't it, anime is for teens or adults entertainment, anime and cartoons are all just the same? No because cartoons made for kid's entertainment.

@@kenneth-sm9lg Not, really, family guy and the simpsons are cartoons but they are not for children. Anime and cartoons all fall in the same genre of being animations. anime is just the japanese term.

@@kenneth-sm9lg not really. in japan they use 'anime' to refer to any kind of animation, including western cartoons. there are also many anime which are for kids (e.g. doraemon and many of the studio ghibli movies).

I am talking about common encounters in both anime A.K.A. japanese cartoon and Western Cartoons. There's a huge difference, most of western animated series(cartoons) is specifically made for kids meanwhile asian animated series(anime) prefer to have an audience of teen above, it is very common and widely known as what these two different animations represents and what it delivers to the audience mostly in the present. You could argue something what is in present might be not the way it is in the past but in the present both of these can be distinctively identified in such a very different perspectives. And what I am pointing out in my previous statements is very common nowadays.

The main reason why there was a Chinese part in the song is that Worlds 2020 is set in Shanghai and Seraphine (Lexie Liu) is a new champion in the game, who is an artist from Shanghai in the K/DA universe. Also, it is just a K/DA collab with Seraphine according to the K/DA lore but they might have more of Seraphine in the future. Fun fact: the sets are direct references to the main League of Legends lore of those 5 champions. There are Neverland, Dumdi Dumdi, etc posters in Seraphine room ;)

@@bae0513 well the hate is justifiable when you consider her appearance is strangely contemporary, her lore makes her seem like a person who doesnt look at the bigger picture, and her kit makes her comparable to sona. Im sure that this hate will die down in a couple of months when they consider that seraphine's playstyle is worlds different from sona.

That might be unrealistic because the budget would be hella expensive than making a real group in general. But indeed it would be pretty nice to see more groups like this in the future.

I don't know.but, i think it's just for their debut. they will burn a lot of money if they do the same concept for every comeback,moreover there is a rumour that they will add the avatar for their stage and i think it will be cost a lot of money for their animator etc. It's hard if they must consistent for comeback because it will take longer time than ordinary idol group. But whatever,i hope they can be success in future

@Lifted Sailboat They actually did it, a person here in yt who does reviews on Lol's cinematics has noticed that even tho the mv shows them in sync they actually have some differences, Kai'Sa foe example has more polished dance angles than the rest.

@Lifted Sailboat You are completely wrong, they are out of sync, and in some parts, they are SUPER out of sync. Just go frame by frame at any part where they are dancing you can see none of them are in sync at any time. You can go frame by frame on youtube by pressing " , " = reverse and " . " = forward . All of them were animated individually, go watch TBSkyen's video analyzing it, he's an artist/animator. The studio that did this is one of the best around, they are called AxisStudiosGroup from the UK, they also did Legends of Runeterra cinematics, Xayah and Rakan cinematic, and PROJECT OVERDRIVE for Riot if you guys want to see some more from them.

The main reason, or at least I think so, Seraphine (Lexie Liu) is singing in mandarin is because this will be part of the opening ceremony for the League of Legends World Championship finals in Shanghai. Also Seraphine is not and official member of KDA, she is just featuring for this song.

So like Kda universe summed up Ahri (The fox girl)was your basic pop/star in 4:46. She lost herself under the pressure of the music industry. She quit and tried music her own way creating the band Kda. Fun fact Kda stand for Kills, Deaths, Assists which is a scoring system in the game. They were big but it was only one song hence the one hit wonder magazine. So this song was showing struggle in finding herself. Towards the end when she is looking at her old self singing reminded herself on why she starting singing and founder herself again. Also in game she is called Ahri the nine tails fox and always has nine tails it’s just all clumped up to look like one. I think the animators just didn’t want to animate all of them. Evelynn (the girl with the HIPS)She was kinda just a singer and probably was a stripper. In game she is a literal succubus that lures people in with the promise of love then like kills them. With her amazing talons. Also she can camouflage with all that smoke. Kai’sa (the girl that raps after the 1st chorus) in game was a girl who got suck into the void which is basically hell. A monster merged with her and she became hot. Jk she got a second skin which protected her. He also got those cool rockets on her shoulders which are floating things. She is a very mobile champion so they made her the dancer. Akali. (The rapper) She is an assasin in game so they make her buff and more gangster. That’s kinda all I have to say

I'm so glad you mentioned personalities in the end. :D Because through the whole video while you were saying "I'm talking about them like they are real" all I could think was "that's because they gave them personalities", I really think that's the biggest game changer here. Riot really puts an effor in creating their personalities and embodying the whole kpop group vibe and they execute it so well. It's similar to TV shows for example, you get attached to certain characters and subconsciously see them as real, even tho they are not real at all they are just played by actors, same as KDA which is just voiced by real people. Plus the girls who give them voice really represent them perfectly which gives them even more of a "real" feel (similar to how you connect more to characters when the actor seems to be really vibing with the chatacter they play). :D

Riot , being originally a music company , has always put out great stuff , they take art very seriously , and I love that they got people's attention with this bomb virtual kpop group. Also on a different note, it's funny how similar the process of a real kpop group and this virtual one is. At the end of the day the result is quite the same (in a music video at least) whether the idols are "real" or not..

A choreo should be uploaded soon since the one for BADDEST was and it is still a lyric video. Seraphine (longhaired for the bridge) is voiced by Lexie Liu here for the chinese part. The Worlds Championship will be held in Shanghai, China so thus the part. They will be releasing new songs on Nov 6. One song (I'll Show You) will feature TWICE. I hope there are music videos for all of them Yeah, Riot Games (creator of LoL) doesn't give copyright strikes. When you do any LoL videos (and other games by them) always: 1. Higher resolution - Some details are tiny and can be noticed by keen observation or replay and pause analysis, and 2. Turn on CC - they actually have good CC with translations for the Korean and Chinese part.

The reason they feel as if they have their own personalities is because every character in this video is actually animated (keyframed) separately instead of "reusing" a set of movements over and over again. This becomes more evident because of the different character models (thicc, fit, etc etc) and also if you do a frame-by-frame analysis of just the chorus section and its pretty evident everyone "reaches" the beat at different speeds.

Another one blurring this line is AleXa, whose MV's look like tie-ins to a video game that hasn't been released yet. One year since her debut, she is doing things her way (being the first in-house artist of ZanyBros, strongly supported by her company, with a great deal of creative input). Watch her "story" MV's in release order to make the most sense of them. "Bomb", "Do Or Die", "Villain", and just-released "Revolution". She also has some b-sides from her 2 EP's to show she can be more conventional, e.g. "Kitty Run"...but even her "more" conventional isn't very...

A good line I saw about why these are always so good is there “ all star line ups” riot is a billion dollar company it can get whoever it wants to sing these songs. The production on this one is so much better because of experience being there third. But they are also owned by tencent which is the richest company in China and this one done for China held world championship. So if riot some how didn’t have the money tencent would of funded it

They are part real as characters and move capture is based on Madison Beer, Jaira Burns, Miyeon and Soyeon, and parts of their personality are reflected on characters, they actualy did perform live on one of the League Of Legends event.

Speaking of (Olympic) performance (haha), League of Legends Worlds 2020 Championship Finals will be today, October 31, and Riot Games (the company and maker of League of Legends) makes an opening performance with all of their songs produced this year, including K/DA. So expect to see a live performance of this song, "More", and possibly, " The Baddest" as well.

Riot Games puts insane amount of money into this project. Pop/stars was produced as just a soundtrack in League of Legends but now the members have their own personalities and background stories. They're sponsored by Louis Vuitton and has photoshoots in Chinese magazine. I know that sounds totally crazy but Riot Games is one of the biggest companies in gaming community (in a BigHit level huge) so they're keep pushing this K/DA project as a virtual kpop group.

They are “ Real “ in a manner of speaking : the rapper is from ( g )idle , the one with claws is Madison Bier , the Kitty is also from ( g) idle , the one with crystals on shoulders is an American ( forget her name ) and lastly pink ponytail is new to me but she has an amazing voice.
