Carla Taylor she has an interview with Hollywood unlocked where she’s much more detailed from a few months ago. A lot of what she says matches up with what we saw on surviving R. Kelly but she also kinda laughs it off a lot. There’s also an interview from Syleena Johnson from years ago. It also sounds similar. Both made comments about how he doesn’t like men and how he keeps people at his house for days at a time and you can’t leave.

Eddie N, firstly, the term 'under-aged women' is an oxymoron. Woman = adult = person who has reached the legal age of majority. The age of majority in most US states is between 18 and 21. You cannot be an adult and a child all at once. Secondly, the minimum age of consent to sex in the US is between 16 and 18. Interestingly enough, in most instances, if the adult is more than 10 years older than they are, the adult can be charged with sexual abuse. How old was that child he married? How old was that child he peed on? How old were some of the children when he met them at the mall/brought them on stage? But this is beside the point. My point is (and given the context in which the term was used, "...women, and in some cases under-aged women...", they were referring to the persons who were under the age of majority) that some Americans seem to have been acculturated to, and seem to have difficulty disabusing their minds from, not viewing children of colour as children...and this reveals itself in utterances like the nonsensical term 'under-aged women'. One 2017 study- published by the Georgetown Law Centre and reported by CNN- suggests that adults in the US view black girls as less innocent than their white peers. In California alone, 88% of children who were tried as adults were children of colour. Let's call a spade a spade.

I was blind behind this situation. But I'm not anymore. After watching surviving r.kelly and really getting into this unusual case, I came to the realization of this matter, and I can now honestly say I AM NO LONGER IN SUPPORT OF R.KELLY! As a women (a black women) that also been rape as a child, I can't support someone I feel in my heart and soul is guilty no matter how much I was trying minimize and rationalize it. I'm sick and upset with myself for not realizing soon, but glad now my eyes are open. I made a comment on his I wish video that was in support of him. I regret doing that now, I will leave the comment up but will go and edit it with this comment. I have since deleted all of his music off my phone or any music app I have like spotify. As a mother of teenage girls, I would be heartbroken and undeniable angry if this happen to any of my girls. I'm praying for all these girls families and mostly praying for these beautiful young ladies. I pray that justice will be served for so many women that has a voice but because of the noise cannot be heard.
