Who wants to bolt on a little bit of extra horsepower and torque?? K&N's Cold Air Intake promises a minimum of 10 HP increase right out of the box! Here's the link to where you can buy yours. Amazon - amzn.to/3rTVTIe
Thanks for the Video. I have a 2022 Rebel and had watched several videos in ref to KN CAI install and you are the only one who spent a bit more detail with removing the sensor. Not sure what I would have done if I didn’t see this video (I would have either broken the damn sensor or figured it out). Anyway….👍
So before I get my 23’ Ram Rebel…IF i take out the stock air intake and replace it with S&B or K&N or whatever else. Do I need to tune it? Cause that can get quite expensive. And I don’t necessarily wanna ruin the warranty either. Just asking before I plan all these upgrades I wanna do to it. Like throttle response faster, exhaust kit for it etc.
I did! It was about 2 mpg improvement on the highway. In town it was tougher to measure. But then I slapped some bigger tires on it and all those mpg gains went away. 😂
Inside the cab when you get on the gas, it's a very noticeable improvement. I can only describe it as "throaty V8 sounding". From outside the truck, it's noticeable to a short distance but not at all like louder exhaust. It's coming from the engine compartment. Truth be told, it sounds completely badass.
Yes! It's hard to put the HP gains into numbers because I didn't dyno it. But it's a noticeable improvement when you get on the gas. Also, I've seen almost 2 mpg improvement with it installed. Honestly, my favorite benefit is the sound. It has a deep sounding growl when you step on it.
