I ditched my KO F-Spec controller. It is just too hard to modulate power at small throttle settings. I do a lot of technical riding. For largely wide open use, its fine. I now have an Ebmx x-9000 controller. Much better for me. Hopefully that information is useful for someone
The KO app is what make really the difference with other controlor. Now I think the KO nano is the best controlor for the OEM motor for sur ron because it's shipper than a Bac4000 it's look more robust and design and it's has the app to set it up and capable of 17kw which is more than enough for the OEM motor !
I’m stuck on the motor calibration step! Alll my controller does it one big beep at me when I twist the throttle. and the wheel doesn’t turn the wheel at all! Any idea??
Can you speak to the people that are complaining about throttle delay or hang? Is it just a tunning issue? Seems that people either love KO or hate KO. I'm in the research phase right now, but I'm looking at the X-9000 or the KO.
I've seen people be concerned about this. I've haven't experienced that on mine, personally. It would in fact be the tune they have set. I'd assume it's caused from the throttle graph (which I mentioned in the video). It's easy to adjust.
Hey , those were the two i have been eyeing as well. I ended up going with the X-900, dont even have my sting r yet but i think im going to just bypass the battery and get a 72v battery down the road. Let me know what you ended up getting.
Hey bro i tried removing my swingarm today to replace one of the missing gearbox bracket bolts. And the main mounting point for the swingarm those huge flat bolts by ykur ankle, it wasnt budging so i heated it up used some keverage and thought it was turning but i just stripped out the bolt. So now i cant ever remove my swingarm to do repairs unless i can figure out someway to remove this stripped bolt. Any ideas? If i get it out ill replace it wirh titanium so this wont happen again

I got the new f spec and it says my throttle isn’t calibrated or is faulty. Put original controller back and it’s fine. I have e mailed Ko numerous times with no response. This company is awol and I’m about over it. I’d get a refund at this point if they answer.
It's probably your throttle voltage is set above .67v. so the controller isn't detecting it. Best place for a quick response is in the k.o discord chat.... discord.gg/b9XYtraP
