For FX, I don't think they'll make a comeback anymore. They've been inactive for too long and members such as Krystal and Victoria's contract have already expired and they are no longer with SM since 2020 . The industry is approaching the 5th gen already, so their time may have already passed. They can probably do reunion concerts.
For the majority, the career of a kpop idol is short and if any 'scandals' occurs, this can end their careers and damage their reputation abruptly, many will find it hard to have success again
Victoria Song has made several successful Chinese dramas and has also been on variety shows. I'm a westerner and too me saying that VS has focused on chinese activities is really dismissing the huge c-wave that is and has been for a while. I would say she is the most successful f(x).

Ravn is continuing with music and I’m relieved. After so many scandals and destroyed careers, even so much as seeing his name officially on the drama OST was a celebration. Seeing him work together and be posted by Oneway studios was a great relief. He isn’t blacklisted, can still appear on broadcast. But right now, he is releasing solo work on his own and picking up new skills. Honestly, given the time frame and legal requirements, probably in the military. That takes some time for any plans of coming back regardless. But he seems very determined and in a better place through his posting these days. Despite the heartbreak of the situation, Hwanwoong said they’d continue to silently cheer him on and want him to cheer for them too. Ravn has hinted that big changes are coming in 2024 and the phrases “Justice” “I’m not going anywhere” “RVs always got a plan” “2stage 2024” and “comeback” with his respective emojis. So we are hoping for a debut when he returns or something significant at the end of the year, even if it’s not a return to the group. Music really is his passion

she was such an amazing addition to the vocal line (probably dance too), now we only have Chaewon and Yujin. Eunchae is slowly getting there? She can carry tone better now. As for Kazuha and Sakura, I love them because they are my bias but they need vocal lessons at least to be stable, their voices are shakey, especially Sakura (which asks for least lines because shes not so confident in her voice 😔) And Hybe sadly isn't very know for vocals (Seventeen & Fromis_9 being a exception of course) because Hybe is more know for their flow and rhythm So I feel like they lost such a great addition she gave me all rounder vibes (dunno if she rapped, she didn't even get the chance 😔)

Garam was treated truly disgustingly by the media and fans who uncritically parroted and amplified everything the accuser (who turned out to be the actual bully) said. People even joined in to make up insane unsubstantiated rumours about her and even edit false photos of her dissing IVE. She deserves so much better.

What baffle me is the parents of these idol who let their kid go to this competitive business without second option . I have seen many idols working as a low paying jobs because if you are not from big 4 you won't get money from your company . Like momoland doesn't get any money from their company . So I have seen idols working in parks , delivery, restaurant and many doesn't even recognise them that's why education or some other scope you need first to go in k-pop industry . Many trainee drop out and many doens't able to get launch imagine working for 5-6 years and then didn't get selected and now you can't even do anything because you waste your precious time in trainee. That's why company should only take 16 and above as trainee so that they can get basic education but company is looking for 8-10 year trainee who doesn't even know what is contract?? The school violence report only accused her (Garam) of swearing and speaking disparagingly at someone who was bullying her (no violence). For which she was given a very light punishment (a couple of hours of special instruction). Her accuser, on the other hand, received a MUCH harsher punishment which she avoided/ran away from by changing school. The accuser allegedly attempted suicide because Garam's fans were harassing her. Unfortunately, HYBE did not protect Garam adequately and the truth did not come out until after Garam was forced to leave the group.
