I lived in Korea for 1 years for my senior year of high school and I asked about a lot of stuff and this older girl explained to me that back when she released her solo Lee hyori was soo popular that if she caught a cold it would be on the news. She also explained to me how insane snsd dominated the 2010’s that they were everywhere to the point of being unbearable. And that there was this saying « you cannot go trough a day in korea without seeing yona face at least 1 » and even 9 years later when I was in Seoul I would see yoona face multiple times a days that how crazy snsd popularity is even now

Its very hard to get info about first gen so I love when you talk about them and explain how things were. It help to imagine the scene back then, like who was the it girl, what were the rumors and couple. Just so interesting and nostalgic ❤
Thank you for making this informative video knowing how scarce it is to obtain the relevant clips from that time compared to today's media. I've been a fan of kpop since early 2000s but didn't know the details of Hyori's "bad girl" attitude.
Please make more videos about this people/ 2nd gen stans are always saying how iconic the 2000s were and how every celebrity was 'authentic crazy and fun' etc this was really interesting
I love videos like this about the history of specific K-pop girl group members, especially from early K-pop generations which feel more mysterious and therefore more fascinating. I am a regular viewer and find your channel one of the best K-pop channels to watch, in fact. The very unique content and nostalgia are what draws me to it!
Im new to this channel, but i already love your content. I didn't even know half of this stuff existed because the information is so sparse, especially since I dont live in Korea. I'd really love to see more from your channel, even if it's not lost media. (But i really love lost media because it's so different from what i usually see the K-pop community talking about, which is almost always repetative. I love how new your content is, even when touching on the old lol.)

Hyori was the "it girl" of 1st gen I know BoA was well known too but title suits more for Hyori And please do more videos about 1st gen, many people don't recognize 1st gen. Also if you share content about Shinhwa I'd support it :)
