Thats funny i sued the same thing pizza box cardboard to see if its leaking LOLOL good video man ima try this on my 15 ford taurus think water pump has a small leak
If your inside heat is not warm. Open hood. On the fire wall remove both heater core hoses and reverse them. Works for me most every time but some older cars get pluged up and need a powder chemical flush. Empty the entire coolant i would first and run just water for a few days and do it again to get as much crud out first. Caution, cool engine is best. Cold water straight into a hot engine can crack heads. If a leak acures use Alumaseal. Note: i did see one car that had 2 different size hoses but I managed to reverse them.
man .. Thanks for the video man !! had the same lil problem you had .. was gonna take that to the mechanic , he was ready to tax my ass ... Thank god for your video .. that leak got seal .. i'm on the road again like a road runner baby .. Appreciate this !!
@@jismackedmedia5244 u can use it with water .. but buy a bar's block seal first from walmart .. it cost like $ 8 .. put the whole bottle in there .. don't put a lot of water .. it should seal the leak .. then when it seal .. put some cheap radiator in there .. they got cheap radiator at walmart for $ 8 also
i have a 2001 jeep 4.0l. at night i would have a full overflow bottle in the morning it would be halve full. when i shut it off it didnt leak but overnight it did.the car never overheats because i make sure i have enough anti freeze.i hope this works.
My 2001 Nissan Altima has a bad water pump leak. When the coolant loop is closed and pressurized it is leaking about as fast as yours does in the video. Next time I get paid I'm going to give this k-seal a try. I really hope it works because this is a new water pump. My old one went bad and wasn't pumping so the engine would overheat. I put a new water pump on but unfortunately it is still leaking. I figure if K-seal doesn't work I'll just put a shit ton of high temp silicone sealant around the seal of the water pump. Probably an imperfection or something that the gasket isn't able to compensate for or something. Due to the overheating I've also begun to burn oil, so I will be getting a head gasket sealer as well and hope that works. It isn't burning a lot so the head gasket should work almost certainly, It's the water pump I'm worried about because it churns through coolant and I just don't have the money to keep buying more coolant and it's too cold to use water.
@@a.l.g7775 my situation was a bit worse. It slowed the flow quite a bit, from over a gallon lost a day to less than a gallon a week. It gave me time to put some sealant around where the gasket goes to fix the problem for good.
My 1998 Chrysler Cirrus water pump leaked. Car overheated, coolant puddle under pump. I let it cool and added K-seal. Like the directions said in a few minutes it was fixed! Haven't seen any water coolant under the car since and temperature is great! Been 4 days.
@@michix1882 Still going strong. I bought another bottle just to keep in my trunk in case something happened again. But it works great and unbelievable! Probably driven 5-6000 miles so far. Still going strong.
@@michix1882Water pump leaking again. Don't know if it's the old leak or a new. I added K-Seal like I did last time & I'm back up and running and everything is fine. I've run it all day for about 50 miles and it's cool as can be and not a drop leaking!🤞
Thank you for this video. I'm in between jobs & don't have the $600 the mechanic quoted me. I'm on my way to AutoZone 😂👍✌ I have a 2002 Honda Accord with the exact same issue. I'll post an update with the results. Regardless id it works or not I wanna thank you Bro
@@BAND-MAID-USA No. I think it slowed it down tho. After purchasing it and using it I also discovered I had a cut in my Heater Hose that connects to the block. But I'd say get it.
@@BAND-MAID-USA Both. But I didn't see the hose leak at 1st. So it was already there but I didn't know. I would get it if I were you. Even the old guy at Autozone told me it really works
I think It's better if you wait until you have a Small Leak. If it's in there for a while it might not be as Effective as putting it in Fresh bcuz of the Chemical Reactions. Specially if you have to do an Antifreeze Regular Service Change Soon then you just wasted your money.
My water pump is dumping coolant like crazy...cost to fix is $1,000 due to its location. So hesitant to try k seal but there's so many horror stories from these products...
If you reverse the hoses it puts pressure in the opposite direction and can possibly clear the clog. If there is air pockets it hardens the product when it hits the air, try to get air pockets out before using the product or any product as they all function the same way.
hey you can fix that.. I got to give a testimony right here.. I watched your video and then ran to O'Reilly's to get this product.the water pump on my 2005 Grand caravan was leaking like a SIVe so bad in fact it was leaking standing still not running it was scary.. I thought at first it was my water pump inlet tube so I replaced that. but I soon realized I had to go get this and give it a shot. my pump was leaking so bad I didn't even think the product was going to get to it and do its thing that's how bad my leak was...I used common Sense on how I should put it in regarding my leak situation at the time. I entered in small amounts at a time and chased it with water and antifreeze little by little after about five minutes of this that damn leak sealed up I can't believe it. it will get me through until I replace the pump.
I jus tried this today my Buick LaCrosse was leaking worst then a garbage pale kid it wudnt hold any coolant I went to mechanic he said 550 only thing saved me Frm forking up da cash he cudnt do it same day so I left was looking at anything that wud stop a leak for water pump on RU-vid seeing they had sumthin to fix radiators so I said let me see I ran across u n a few other vids I instantly went to autozone n got Kseal I left it running about 20min looking for the drip again ground was dry then drove arnd for almost 30 40min no leak this all happen today I’ll giv u update n few days but my engine light still on tho
from what i’ve read, k-seal will seal up anything up to 1/32 of an inch in any portion of the coolant system as long as it’s warm and at operating temperature then it will seal it up
@@thespacesbetweenstudio3346 Separate. Bars first. But when it didn’t work, I added the k-seal. Been great since. I've added maybe a half a cup of antifreeze since.
Its only a temporary fix.Im about to do my timing belt in the next 10,000 and my water pump is leaking. So im.gonna use this in the mean time, but coming those 10,000 miles i gotta get a new water pump with new timing belt done at the same time aka "killing 2 birds with one stone".
GalactixPirate me too but i couldn't change my pump because i just had rotator cuff surgery so in 4 months il change out the pump and save the 450 dollars the shop wanted. This stuff is amazing even tho is around 15 dollars but it has a guarantee to work or your money back
