Is there a realistic way we have the best roster in the big 12? Being a K-State fan I feel like we could, if everyone comes together like I think, our biggest weakness could be guarding on the perimeter, but everything else shows very little vulnerability

I think you’re right. It’s really going to be about gelling together. The talent is definitely there. Up to the fellas and the coaching staff now!

Hey Joe, i was just wondering, what makes you think so highly of Coleman Hawkins, i know he averaged 12 ppg last year, but hes been in college basketball for 5 years and has only 1 season of double digit ppg, not tryna be a downer just wondering why you think in the big 12 he'll take such a jump to an all american

It doesn’t feel like all that much of a jump to me to be honest. Keyontae averaged 17 and 6 and was third team but was also the best or second best player on an elite team. It’s less about the jump in numbers and more about the team winning in big moments. Hawkins is a superstar of a basketball player and watching him in the tourney you could see it. Could be wrong but I feel pretty good about it

Would rather play Houston and Arizona home and away and lose than playing osu, cincy, or asu. Losing to Arizona and Houston (4games) won't hurt as much as losing to losing to Asu and osu. And playing Houston and as prepares u for better for march madness than as and osu.

That’s fair, but honestly, I don’t see us losing to OSU or ASU. I’ll take a “guaranteed” win over a potential loss in this case. Resume will still look great if you have a positive league record

@JoeTillery never say never but at that the same time, if it comes down to kansas state and a team or two with your similar record or resume but another team has a better win compare to asu or osu, most of the time, the committee would take that time. Strength of schedule and eye test doesn't help if 4 of those wins comes against asu or osu. I always believe, always play better strength of schedule than playing easier schedule especially with seeding.

Hey man another good vid, quick question though... if k state was to win against Houston and Arizona but lose to ASU or OSU just once where do you think that would land the seeding.

I actually don’t think that would negatively affect it as much as it may sound on paper. Beating UA and Houston would do wonders for the stock, you can afford a road loss to ASU or OSU in the league if you beat two of the top teams. Think it may even prop us up higher than getting 1/2 against UA or UH and winning against OSU or ASU.
