Oh boi, here it is! The k-swapped miata, wish I had one someday. Don't even need to be a k-swapped, just a NA miata.

Nice video, one suggestion though.. get a mic or lower the background music.. your videos would be so much more enjoyable that way.!

We actually have lav mics now, but they’re giving us some issues lately. We’re constantly trying to work out some kinks to try and make the best videos for you guys. Thanks for the suggestion! Glad you still liked the video.

Engine out of which Honda/Accura? All Z3’s are not the same.

2012 Acura TSX. K24Z3 with 11:1.

I thought K24Z3 was a cool option for the Miata. Then I found out about the oil consumption issue Honda had on the 09-11 TSX engines. Kinda defeats the allure of cheap junk yard motors. Maybe the 12-14 engines are fine , but it limits the junkyard cheapness.

I haven’t had any issues with oil consumption. But nowadays, these are about 2-3x more expensive in junkyards which puts them on par with the K24A’s from Japan. I still think this is the right engine swap if you want boost though, just in terms of packaging with the single exhaust port. Makes the turbo manifold way smaller and easier to fit in the tight engine bays that Miata’s are cursed with.
