The green truck was the one you were driving when I found your channel. It's what made me start watching I grew up riding in a truck just like your blue one. My dad drove a blue. White kw just like that when I was a kid hauling produce for "travelers transportation" not sure anyone would remember them. But definitely hits home to my childhood watching you.
I think the beginning of your videos is my favorite to any intro. Been watching since the beginning my brother. If you don't like it go and truck yourself. Love e you brother
I remember the Overdrive magazines my dad would get and my fav was the ad for KW cabovers and conventionals. Aerodyne cabover with dual stacks turned out. Frank would look good with those dual stacks.
Great video Chad doing some maintenance on the Blue truck. Taking a trip down memory lane with Frankenstein one day you'll get him back out on the road stay safe Chad and Kim.
Just think, it was not that long ago that you had both trucks up for sale. Glad no one actually made a reasonable offer on them as it's great to see you working the blue truck and maybe one day put Frankenstein back to work.
What's going on baby brother Chad. You know that You were the very first Trucking RU-vidr that i have been rocking with since day one. You have been the a great inspiration and a true friend. you know for a fact that i've seen each and every video that you have put out on youTube. I met you through something i had posted on FaceBook years ago. i still want to thank you for that little advice that you gave me about learning to want to live my life and put all the other BS behind me like you sad that you had to do the same thing in your yonger days. Thank you once again my friend. I'm still hanging on and living each day to the fullest Chad Keegan & Mrs. K. Keegan. i'm still that Ol Shool (RET) Trucker better know as the '' Bonecrusher '' Class of 82. Stay Safe and Keep On Doing it To It !!!!
Great video Chad thank you for the tour round awesome stuff looks like you have alot to do around there for sure keep up your amazing content my friend and stay safe 👍👍
I miss old Frankie LOL keep up the good work. I know you're only 1 person, but I still miss Frankie. Take care, Chad, log your videos. Keep up the good work, buddy.😂😂❤❤😂
This was really a great video, brother! I always wondered about Frankenstein, brother. I knew that sooner or later, there would've been a video on her! It's a nice KW. Both are nice. I'd keep it for a while. It's nice to have a back up, you never know.
Great show Chad! Hope you got some rest! You were in Frank when I saw y’all. Pilot, Napoleon, Ohio ! He’s a greats a looking truck! Heading back up that way tomorrow
Chad a few years back I had some squirrels chew up some wiring inside Kimbo‘s F150. They ate the wires going into the main computer. It’s got like 50 wires going to that damn thing. My mechanic came out and said man something some chewing on your truck, I was like what??? That’s what it was squirrels. They will screw up a vehicle if it sits for a minute. And this one was just sitting in the driveway. It wasn’t like it’s parked or anything. It’s a Daley driver that cost me a little bit of change. Awesome video, brother👍👍👍
Our KW is nearly completed. I will be happy hauling load's with it. It has Air Conditioning Cab and Sleeper. I took a heating and air conditioning system out from a wrecked KW and I had a good friend of our's help install it and run hoses and wires around. It keeps it cool inside pretty damn good. I thought about getting a Green Apu System but I wanted to keep it factory looking outside. I thought about installing a small RV style air conditioner uptop but I was like that's not going to look good. Friend of mine said he can easily install a heater and air conditioning system and I was like that's cool so it and he did. The interior is about 90% completed.
@@1ChadKeegan nope no issues at all cause me and Jessie slept in it a few days ago and it kept us pretty cool. We had a little smart tv and we watched movie's on RU-vid. We have a tablet that we watched movie's on. Lucky I had a Bluetooth Speaker in the rig when I was driving it. The stereo is going to be an old fashion one. I found the same kind of stereo tape player my grandparents had on eBay still in the box. I had one of my son's install it and it sounds good. Wien the truck is finished it will look exactly what my grandparents had. I tried to find the cabover they had and I was told it was damaged in a accident that the owner was in. My piece of a bleep of a mother sold it from underneath me and another family member. I was pissed off when I was told what she did. Sue tried to sell my dad's KW and ha ha it backfired on her cause was in another name also with my dad's name. I still usve it ajd it's always driving all the time. Won't ever get rid of it. My oldest son he was driving it and I was driving a 2010 KW and he was like wanting to drive it and I was like wanting to drive the 78. I posted on FSV Trucking about his Green Apu System and I said hey if Chad Keegan has it installed he's going to be the second one to ever get a Green Apu System installed in his cabover. Even Jessie my wife said the same thing. Will it's time to punch out and get back to the house and take a shower and go to bed. I was in call (Wrecker p) lucky no calls except to haul a Chevy Truck to the impound yard (Drunk Driver got busted Cop said it' was his 4th offense he's going to prison for a very very long time.
yeeeahhh brother 👍😎 i had squirrels in my battery box….. ate the $500 insulation wrap off my turbo and downpipe to make a nest in the battery box I was mad! cause they ate thru wire to insulation 🤦♂️
Guy just called today asking me to pull the Ali Babba and I said no because I don’t pull that much weight with the Blue Truck But Frankenstein would eat that up.
Just ran across your channel dig the trucks but i had to laugh when i saw your colony park i have a 1988 down here in S Fla I'll bet we could trade stories of all the work we've done on em to keep them running sometimes it ain't easy but it's worth it when you get behind the wheel jump on the turnpike and let her go.. you got a new sub !!
@@1ChadKeegan I've done all that replaced a lot of parts from the car sitting in my boss's garage on a horse farm in Jersey it's in mint shape low miles but I'm sure I'll always be turning wrenches on the old gal.good luck in the trucking game worked for Johnny Sessa Bulldozing trucking mining heavy equipment tough business we were one of the big dogs back then in south Florida now everyone is retired & playing with old wagons take care and be safe out there.if you get a chance would love to see more of your Mercury in a vid...
@@milfordtrethowan2474 I’ve got a few old videos where I do a walk around etc. I told my wife that’s our retirement car for when we move down there. I only paid 1000$ for it about 7 years ago from a scrap yard the guy was gonna derby it but couldn’t because it was to nice to tear up so I was lucky to save it.
Hey Chad! You can move the intake tube on the inside of the rack, mine was like that. I had dual exhaust and my intake was in front of the in cab. Better yet dual intake, plenty of air.
No!! chipmunks are a disaster!! they chew holes in everything! & every last thing!!! geez! a good kitty will fix this! that green Ken is super kickass! U gota NFR tag! ha..ha.. nice indepth vid! good luck! 1. make a mold out of plywood. 2. then shrink wrap the mold in ptfe. 3. fill this mold with liquid rubber, like flex seal. U'll need to try several small samples of several different types! to find the right durable mix!! invite others that will need some gaskets!! woohoo! convoy of Big Ken's!
Maybe you answered the question before( and I’m sorry if you have) but with your wife on the road with you every now and then and your flat top being a 36inch bunk have you ever considered trying to find a KW flat top double bunk/big bunk? Ether way keep up the killer work much respect.
check with mike the truck nut he bought a pack of 5 windshield seals i cant tell you if all the k100 are the same maybe you can get one off him couple off epiosode ago
C and e aren’t the same E are no longer made in the US/Canada. Maybe Australia would be the only place where they may be made but I know people from down there and nobody has ever told me they were still available.
