I'm building a sophisticated all motor and then I'm going to boost the leftover engine. Both of them are going for torque. Im going for 220 horsepower

No, there is an additional tensioner that comes with the Comptech engineering kit.

Kraftwerks for the win, but unfortunately in swapped cars, you cannot retain AC. Walbro 450 would be a better choice. Depends on the fuel you’ll be using

Would the merc 1900 clear the top and what else Would I have to upgrade ..clutch stage 2 ?? And recommendations on a tuner

⁠@@kerthao470yes the merc1900 should clear. Be aware though, the wait is quite long. Clutch wise, some people have had luck with the exedy stage 1, but me personally, I think a clutchmasters 725 twin with organic plates is the best choice.

Yes they do, but since this was used in my k swap, there was really no point so I took off the sticker. To be fair, it was pretty faded and damaged already.

That is a great kit! I was actually going to sell my kit and purchase the TVS1900 a2a, but I’m going to enjoy this car as is for a little while. The AWD RSX should satisfy my hunger for speed for a little bit. Eventually though, I’d like to run either the 1900 or 2300 kit

@@screwedupcivic2285 I considered the mr2300 kit for the awd rsx just to be different than the other ones out there, but the turbo setup is nearly complete. Maybe later down the road? DudewithdaFA5 and you will absolutely love the tvs1900 though!

Between the rotrex c38r and mercracing 2300 which would be the best for daily and ever so often drag events?

Can’t go wrong between the 2. Completely different powerband. The Merc will come on strong and taper toward the end whereas the C38r will continue to pull all the way to the rev limiter. If you’re wanting to keep AC then the Merc. If not then the c38r. Honestly both great setups.

the positive displacement blowers not really taper off power on a k20a2 or k24a2/3.

@@Rudedre Power does not climb as steeply as with a Rotrex blower as boost and torque stay near constant vs rising with a Rotrex. I had both on my Elise, first a Rotrex on a Rover K and then an Eaton blower on a k20.

@@Vang_Cutz it is, but I don’t get too caught up in dyno numbers. The track is where you will really see what the car can do. Dyno numbers look good on paper, but the real question is whether or not it can perform on the track.
