Fuc* yeah let’s go , I would of never known about this info if it wasn’t for this channel , kmiata is having a lot of success with there k24z3 swaps on the miatas and turbo they are making 4- to 500 stock.
Chris is so underrated... and will tell you 100% what's bs and how people just follow the 1 thing 1 person said years ago like sheep..... R40 is gonna be the next k24a2... mark my words!!!
yep started messing with them u can mod 2 timing covers so it can be used on a older gen civic to so it takes crank sensor on front of motor vs at flywheel side
I want to mildly build my K24Z3. I just want to make like 250-280hp without breaking the bank. Also the K24Z were in the 8th gen accords also. K24Ws in the 9th gen accord. No idea about the civic not a Civic kinda guy.
there odd balls and rare basicly a hybrid between older k24a and k24z motors some z1 have the crank pickup on front of timing cover and have it on flywheel to
@@isaaclara7345 It honestly depends on engine health & the Tune. But from my exp with a '13 FG4 HFP just a Rv6 catless downpipe, Premuim CAI with ported throttle body, Hondata/Ktune and a good tune on 94 Octane should get you pre close honestly. The main mistake people make when trying to make power on the k24Z7 is removing the poly intake manifold. it was specifically designed for the K24Z7. That's why you see a lot of guys "losing" power when they do the 8th gen intake manifold swap.
Junkyard near my house has a 2008 crv 2.4 I looked it up and it says k24z would that be a good block to purchase it’s only 50 bucks or I could get the whole engine for 140? Also wondering what heads would bolt on to that block
The most I've ever done to look into the k24z is right here in this video. If this isn't enough to help you out then I'm not the guy you need unfortunately
